A door lock system comprising a first rotary configured to control extension and retraction of the deadbolt via a primary cam mechanism; a second rotary control configured to control extension and retraction of the latch; and a link configured to retract the deadbolt in response to operation of the second rotary control when the latch is retracted by the second rotary control. The link is configured to move along a linear path normal to the movement of the deadbolt and the door latch and to contact the primary cam mechanism upon the link movement to affect deadbolt retraction and extension. A lever may be used to retract the latch in response to rotation of the first rotary control in a first rotational direction when the deadbolt is retracted by the first rotary control.

High security multi-tiered locking system for utility vaults

A locking system for a utility vault including an I-beam extending across an opening in utility vault, a two-piece lid positioned in the opening over the I-beam, brackets positioned on opposite ends of each piece of the two-piece utility lid for engaging an inside wall surface of the utility vault and the I-beam, and a three-tier locking system positioned at an end of one piece of the two-piece lid to lock the lid to the vault including a L-bolt lock, a padlock and a lockable door on an upper surface of the lid.

A lock system includes an active panel center gearbox. The active panel center gearbox includes a deadbolt, a deadbolt drive to extend or retract the deadbolt, an upper drive assembly, a lower drive assembly, a latch bolt, a handle assembly to retract the latch bolt and to extend or retract the lower and the upper driver assemblies, a reverse action rocker coupling the lower and the upper drive assemblies so they move in different directions, a mishandling bolt, and a mishandling plate. When the mishandling bolt extends, it lowers the mishandling plate. When the mishandling plate lowers, it engages the deadbolt to prevent the deadbolt from extending, it engages the handle assembly to prevent the lower drive assembly from extending, and it engages the reverse action rocker to prevent the upper drive assembly from extending.

ELECTRONIC DOOR LOCK
20230061772 · 2023-03-02 ·

An electronic door lock is provided and includes a housing, a movable latch assembly, a telescopic rod, a driving member, an elastic member and a driving assembly. The telescopic rod is arranged in the movable latch assembly, and the elastic member is connected to the movable latch assembly and the driving assembly. The elastic member is driven by the driving assembly to drive the movable latch assembly, so that the telescopic rod located in the movable latch assembly can be controlled to retract or protrude from the movable latch assembly and the movable latch assembly is in a locked mode or an unlocked mode. In the unlocked mode, the driving member can push the telescopic rod to drive the movable latch assembly to move. Therefore, the problem that the driving assembly must accurately calculate the operating time can be solved and damage to the driving assembly can be prevented.

Door lock having a lighted display when in the locked position

A locking mechanism is provided for a portal closure that includes a first side, and a second side The portal closure including a latch movable into and out of engagement with a latch receiver and a latch driving device coupled to the latch for moving the latch into and out of engagement with the latch receiver The latch driving device includes a controllable lock member movable between a locked position where the latch is fixedly positioned in the latch receiver and an unlocked position where the latch is capable of being disengaged from the latch receiver and a second side latch driving device mover disposed on the second side of the portal closure. The locking mechanism includes a first side latch driving device mover disposed on the first side of the portal closures, and coupled to the latch driving device for moving the latch driving device to cause the latch to move into and out of engagement with the latch receiver. A signal generator is provided for generating a human detectable signal. A lock actuator is coupled to the controllable lock member for moving the locking mechanism between a first normal position wherein the second side lock driving device is capable of being moved between an unlocked position to permit the latch to be disengaged from the latch receiver and a locked position where the latch is prevented from being disengaged from the latch receiver; and a second emergency position wherein the second side lock driving device is in the locked position, and the signal generator is actuated to generate a human detectable signal. A power source is provided for powering the signal generator when the locking mechanism is in the second emergency position. A switch is coupled between the power source and the signal generator for controlling the flow of current between the power source and the signal generator.

DOOR LOCK DEVICE

A door lock device is provided and includes: a housing, an acting assembly arranged in the housing and having a lock tongue, an operating assembly arranged in the housing and interlocked with an outdoor handle, and a regulating assembly arranged in the housing for a user to regulate the operating assembly into an interlocking state or an idle state. As such, in the interlocking state, the outdoor handle drives the acting assembly through the operating assembly to cause the lock tongue to extend or retract relative to the housing, and in the idle state, the operating assembly cannot drive the acting assembly and the outdoor handle cannot be interlocked with the lock tongue.

Methods of operating a lock

A method of controlling a lock mechanism of an active door includes transiting an access controller of the lock mechanism to an authorized access mode and transitioning the access controller from the authorized access mode to an entry mode. Transitioning the access controller to the authorized access mode is in response to an authorized user being sensed approaching the active door from an exterior side of the active door or in response to input on a remote device. In the authorized access mode, an exterior handle of the active door is decoupled from a main latch of the lock mechanism. Transitioning the access controller to the entry mode is in response to sensed contact with the exterior handle. In the entry mode, the exterior handle is capable of rotating to transition the access controller to an unlocked mode in which the exterior handle is operably coupled to the main latch.
