A LOCK
The invention relates to a lock (5) for a hinged closure, comprising a housing (8) adapted to be mounted on a frame (3) of the closure, and seating internally thereof a bolt device (4) reciprocable relative to the housing between respective open and closed positions of the closure and having a throw of substantially 70 mm to bridge in use a gap between the frame and a facing keeper, characterised by a Eurocylinder lock means (5) adapted to engage and retain the bolt (4) in the locked, or closed, position of the closure. There is also disclosed means to protect the said lock (5) against vandalism, the means comprising in disclosed embodiments a cover plate (305,305a), an inclined escutcheon (6), or smooth fillet weld(s) securing the escutcheon (6) to the housing (8).
Vacuum cleaner assembly
A vacuum cleaner assembly configured to be mounted in a vehicle. The vacuum cleaner assembly including a vacuum unit configured to draw a vacuum, a canister assembly configured to collect debris and coupled to the vacuum unit, a hose junction configured to serve as a pathway for debris, and a chassis connecting the hose junction to the canister assembly. A pathway through the vacuum cleaner assembly may turn 180 degrees in the hose junction. A dirty air port of the canister assembly may be disposed at an angle relative to a surface of the chassis to facilitate placement and removal of the canister assembly.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator with an enhanced door includes a main body including a storeroom, first and second doors pivotally coupled to the main body to open or close the storeroom and a pivot bar pivotally installed at the first door. The pivot bar is movable between a first position between the first and second doors and a second position pivoted toward the first door to prevent cold air leaks from the storeroom. A locking device separably locks the pivot bar to the first door when the pivot bar is in the second position.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LOCKING A CHARGING PORT TO CHARGE AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A system and method for locking a charging port to charge an electric vehicle that includes determining that the electric vehicle is located within a predetermined distance of a charging station and determining when the charging port of an electric vehicle supply equipment of the charging station is attached to the electric vehicle to actively charge the electric vehicle. The system and method also include determining if the charging station accesses a parking citation associated with parking of the electric vehicle if the electric vehicle is not attached to the charging port. The system and method additionally include locking the charging port to the electric vehicle to disallow decoupling of the charging port from the electric vehicle by an unauthorized individual to avoid the parking citation.

Throw lock assembly and bolt keeper assembly
A lock assembly comprising a throw bolt, a bolt holder and a bolt keeper. The bolt keeper comprises a buffer and a biasing mechanism, configured such that when the lock assembly is arranged as in use, and the throw bolt is in the locking position, the buffer will space the throw bolt apart from a surface to which the bolt keeper is attached; and the biasing mechanism will bear on the bolt and bias it against the buffer.
Rigid sterilization container with replaceable filter assemblies
Sterilization containers, components, and methods thereof. A locking mechanism is used to secure and release a filter assembly on a sterilization container includes two opposing buttons that, when compressed toward each other, unlock the locking mechanism and, when released, secure the locking mechanism.

Lock for faceplane infrastructure
A lock mechanism for a faceplane infrastructure coupled externally from a faceplate of a modular device includes a locking bar, a locking bar engagement element, and a securing device. When the lock mechanism is assembled and in a locked state, the locking bar is housed within the modular device. Further, when the lock mechanism is assembled and in the locked state, the locking bar engagement element is fixedly coupled to a first portion of the faceplane infrastructure and removably engaged with the locking bar through an aperture in the faceplate of the modular device. Moreover, when the lock mechanism is assembled and in the locked state, the securing device locks the first portion of the faceplane infrastructure to the faceplate of the modular device.
