A door locking apparatus is provided which includes an integrated plate having a strike plate adjoined to an extension, and a lock coupled to a flexible elongate member. The strike plate includes an aperture and fastener holes, and is configured such that it securely affixes to the recess of a door frame when the door is open. The extension is shaped to protrude from the surrounding frame when the strike plate is installed to the frame. The elongate member extends from the extension and is of sufficient length to wrap around a door handle when the door is closed. The lock can pass through the elongate member and an intermediate portion thereof passes through the lock, or, through an opening in the extension such that the door cannot be opened without unlocking the lock and removing it from the elongate member when the elongate member is wrapped around the handle.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING LOGISTICS

A seal assembly for a container includes a locking assembly and a gateway. The locking assembly includes a body and an elongated cable. The elongated cable extends from a proximal end to a distal end. The proximal end is restrained by the body. The distal end is movable from an unlocked position spaced from the body to a locked position restrained by the body. The gateway is configured for selectively interlocking with the locking assembly. The gateway includes a power supply, a radio communication device, a sensor, and a processor electrically coupled therewith. The processor is configured to operate the radio communication device to transmit a first signal upon detection by the sensor of interlocking of the gateway with the locking assembly, and to transmit a second signal upon detection by the sensor that the elongated cable has been cut. Locking assemblies, gateways, devices and methods are also provided.

Lock Mechanism

A security lock comprises a slide with a bolt section along a side thereof and integral therewith, and a casing having a channel with an open side for receiving and retaining the bolt section. The bolt section and channel have substantially the same cross-section to allow for sliding engagement of the bolt section in the channel to a hold position. The bolt section has a recess with at least one defined axial boundary on its surface, aligned when the bolt is in the hold position with an opening in the wall of the channel. A cam and follower mechanism is mounted in the lock in which the cam is rotatable in the casing to at least one hold orientation at which the follower extends in the opening and into the recess when the bolt section is in the hold position to restrict movement of the bolt section along the channel. A key device can rotate the cam between at least one hold orientation and at least one other release orientation at which the follower can withdraw from the recess and release the bolt section in the channel.

ELECTRIC BICYCLE

A bicycle includes a frame, a motor, a battery, and a key interface. The frame includes a head tube, a down tube coupled to the head tube, a central hub coupled to an end of the down tube opposite the head tube and defining an internal cavity, and a mount positioned at least partially directly underneath the internal cavity. The motor is coupled to the mount such that the motor is positioned at least partially underneath the internal cavity. The battery extends at least partially into the internal cavity of the central hub and positioned at least partially directly above the motor. The battery is configured to power the motor. The key interface is supported by the mount. Engaging the key interface releases the battery to facilitate removing the battery from the frame.

LOCK ASSEMBLY FOR SECURING A STORAGE CONTAINER

A lock system for securing a storage container comprises a first lock having a first lock body and a shackle, the first lock having a first locked condition wherein the shackle is locked to the first lock body and a first unlocked condition wherein the shackle is unlocked from the first lock body. The first lock has a first key receptacle for actuating the first lock between the first locked condition and the first unlocked condition. The lock assembly includes a second lock having a second lock body and a cable. The second lock has a second locked condition wherein the cable is locked to the second lock body and a second unlocked condition wherein the cable is unlocked from the second lock body. The second lock has a second key receptacle for actuating the second lock between the second locked condition and the second unlocked condition. A key is receivable by both the first key receptacle and the second key receptacle and keyed to lock and unlock both the first lock and the second lock.

Restraining device

A non-lethal restraining device includes an extendable restraining strap retained within a device body until deployed, when the extendable restraining strap is then looped over a person. A biasing element allows the extendable restraining strap to be tightened once it has been fully deployed and looped around a person's body to restrict the person's movement. When the extendable strap is tightened around the person's body, the device provides control points to direct and manipulate the person safely.

SMART LOCKING SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Smart locking devices, systems and methods are provided. A user mobile device can transmit a wireless signal to an electronic locking device. The electronic locking device includes a power sensor to sense the harvested power, and a controller to process the communication component to determine an algorithm to operate the electronic locking device. The mobile device is connected to a network environment where user authentication and encryption data can be generated, stored, and relayed to multiple user mobile devices for wireless key management for authentication.
