Sharing Video Footage from Audio/Video Recording and Communication Devices for Parcel Theft Deterrence
Systems and methods for communicating in a network using parcel theft share signals in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, an audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device comprises: a camera configured to capture first image data of a drop-off zone; a communication module; and a processing module comprising: a processor; and a parcel theft deterrence application that configures the processor to: monitor a parcel in the drop-off zone, wherein the parcel is associated with parcel tracking data; determine that the parcel has been removed from the drop-off zone; generate a parcel theft share signal using the first image data and the parcel tracking data, wherein the parcel theft share signal includes a command to share the first image data with a network of users; and transmit the parcel theft share signal to the backend server using the communication module.
Security apparatus
A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object includes a head having a base. The head also includes a plurality of engagement elements extending from the base and configured to be inserted into an aperture of the portable electronic device. The plurality of engagement elements is movable relative to the body while inserted into the aperture to engage a portion of the portable electronic device. The head further includes a linear element positioned between the plurality of engagement elements. The linear element is movable relative to the plurality of engagement elements to push the plurality of engagement elements radially outward. The security apparatus also includes a security device attached to the head and configured to engage the immovable object.

Combination non-programmable and programmable key for security device
A security device for an item of merchandise is provided. The security device includes a non-programmable locking mechanism comprising a mechanical lock and a programmable locking mechanism comprising a monitoring circuit operatively coupled to an alarm. The security device is configured to secure an item of merchandise from theft or removal when the mechanical lock is locked and to be separated from the item of merchandise when the mechanical lock is unlocked. The alarm is configured to provide an alarm signal if the security device is separated from the item of merchandise while the monitoring circuit is armed.
Anti-theft device intended to be attached to an item sold over-the-counter
An antitheft device attachable to an article, formed by two parts, one part comprises a means for remote interaction with a terminal detecting passage of the device, a hinge to allow movement between a protection position, and a release position, one of the parts having, at the end opposite to the movable hinge, a needle able to move in a direction perpendicular to the mid-plane of the device, the other part comprising a housing for receiving the needle, the housing comprising lock configured to allow the release of the needle with an opener, wherein the first part has three retractable cages enabling the needle to move between a retracted position where the tip of the needle does not project beyond the internal surface of the first part, and a deployed position in which the needle is engaged in the complementary housing when the device is in the closed position.
Product display fixture
A display fixture for supporting a sample product comprises a platform segment, a tether assembly, and a coupling plate. The platform segment defines a top surface, a bottom surface, and an aperture extending from the top surface to the bottom surface. The tether assembly includes a tether housing positioned below the bottom surface of the platform segment and a tether extending from the tether housing and through the aperture of the platform segment. The tether is selectively retractable from the tether housing and is biased toward maintenance inside the tether housing. The coupling plate defines a slot extending from an outer perimeter thereof into an interior thereof. The slot terminates at an enlarged end opposite the outer perimeter. The tether extends through the slot and terminates in a ball end. The ball end nests in the enlarged end of the slot to couple the tether to the coupling plate.
Bike Lock
The present invention relates to a bicycle lock comprising a lock body and set of arms. The lock body is mountable on the seat of the bicycle. The arms extend from the lock body and terminate in locking surfaces. The locking surfaces are secured together by a locking element. The lock body and arms comprise an integrated textile fabric and steel cable structure simultaneously resistant to common sawing and slicing attacks. The lock body secures the bicycle seat while the arms are threaded through and around bicycle components to attach to a stationary object.
Management of securable computing resources
A system is provided and includes a securable resource, a locking element configured to assume a locked condition in which the securable resource is locked and an unlocked condition in which the securable resource is unlocked and a controller. The controller is receptive of an instruction to authorize users to unlock the securable resource and is configured to perform operating system (OS) level authentication of the users and OS level control of the locking element in accordance with the instruction to authorize users and the OS level authentication.
Low profile computer security locks
A lock that is configured to be attached to electronic equipment requiring securing against theft and the lock comprising: a lock body; a locking element protruding from the lock body and having a forward distal section that is comparatively wider in cross-sectional size compared to a rear section thereof, the forward section being configured to be insertable into a cavity formed in the equipment, where the cavity is defined by an opening having a size and shape slightly larger than the cross-sectional size of the forward section of the locking element and an interior larger in cross-sectional size than the opening of the cavity; a slidable locking pin configured to slide alongside the locking element and into the cavity, after the locking element has been inserted into said cavity, to substantially fill a space of the cavity left unoccupied by the locking element; a sliding mechanism coupled to the locking pin and configured to slide the locking pin into and out of the cavity; and a locking mechanism to lock the locking mechanism within the lock body to prevent withdrawal of the locking element from the cavity.
BUCKLE
A buckle comprising a male coupler including a bar portion with an external surface, a first flange protruding from the external surface, the first flange being adapted for connection of a strap thereto; a female coupler with a hollow body having an opening therein, the opening including an end part at a first axial end of the hollow body and a slot part extending generally axially from the end part of the opening, the slot part having opposing lips extending along the slot, the hollow body having an internal surface complementary to the external surface of the bar portion; a detent for releasably holding the bar portion in the hollow body; and wherein the lips extend reentrantly and each lip is adjacent a respective inwardly-extending face in the bar portion.
