Dual function strap for resonating elements and ultra high frequency antennas
A combined EAS and RFID circuit includes an HF coil antenna, a UHF tuning loop, and an RFID chip coupled to a strap that includes a first coupling area and a second coupling area. The coil ends of the HF coil antenna are configured to capacitively and/or conductively couple to one or both of the first coupling area or second coupling area of the strap. The HF coil antenna can include a gap between turns for non-interfering placement of the UHF tuning loop. The EAS circuit can be deactivating upon application of a field at the resonant frequency of sufficient intensity to cause the breakdown voltage to be exceeded between a coil end and coupling area. The threshold breakdown voltage between a coil end and a coupling area can be reduced by laser ablation treatment of a conductive surface of one or both of the coil end or coupling area.
Lumber Supply Theft Deterrent Device
An article of manufacture for providing a lumber supply theft deterrent device according to the present invention is a lumber supply theft deterrent device having a plurality of strap elements coupled together forming a securing loop, a locking coupling device connecting two of the strap elements together to form a tight fit about the lumber by the securing loop, and a locking device for securing the locking coupling device from being opened. The plurality of strap elements being coupled together using one or more coupling devices, the securing loop may be places around a stack of lumber. The securing loop is arranged into a shape of square or a rectangle in which the plurality of strap elements couple together to form the outer edge of the square when around the stack of lumber. A threaded bolt in the locking connecting device accepts a shackle from the lock for securing the lock to the treaded bolt. The shackle is configured to prevent the treaded bolt from rotating when the lock is installed in the threaded bolt.
ANTI-THEFT MERCHANDISE HOOK
An anti-theft merchandise hook that includes a top wire connected to a housing at a first end of the top wire, and to a mounting portion, used to mount the anti-theft merchandise hook to a stationary surface, at a second end of the top wire opposite the first end. A bottom wire is attached to the mounting portion and extends from the mounting portion towards the housing. The bottom wire is configured to hold retail merchandise. A hanger is at least partially disposed within the housing. The hanger is configured to move between a closed position in which the hanger abuts the bottom wire, and an open position in which the hanger is spaced some distance from the bottom wire. A motor is configured to move the hanger between the closed position and the open position.
ANTI-THEFT DELIVERY BAG
An anti-theft delivery bag includes a bag having a front side and a rear side, the front side having an opening providing access to an interior portion of the bag. A fastener mechanism is positioned along the opening, the fastener mechanism configured to alternate between an opened position providing access to the interior portion, and a closed position preventing access to the interior portion. A locking device is configured to lock the fastener mechanism in the closed position. A strap is configured to be positioned on a door handle. A configurable latch member is attached to the rear side of the bag. The latch member includes a rectangular frame configured to be positioned against a mortise plate within a door jamb of a door, such that the latch member and the anti-theft delivery bag are secured in position when the door is closed and locked preventing theft of the bag.
Carrying trays and methods for transporting and installing latching assemblies on cowlings for marine drives
A carrying tray facilitates installation of a latching assembly on a cowl of a marine drive. The carrying tray comprises a plurality of latching device cavities configured to retain a plurality of latching devices in a spaced-apart orientation that positions each respective latching device with respect to its mounting position on the cowl so that the respective latching device can be directly installed onto the cowl without tangling or damaging the flexible connectors, and an actuator retainer that retains an actuator in a position with respect to its mounting position on the cowl so that the actuator can be directly installed onto the cowl without tangling or damaging the flexible connectors.
ADJUSTABLE APPARATUSES TO SECURE ELECTRONIC DEVICES TO DISPLAY TABLES
An apparatus for physically securing a tablet and a keyboard to a tabletop of a display table or to another display surface is described herein. The apparatus includes a main body, a left arm and a right arm that are extendable and retractable relative to the main body and a left side brace and a right side brace attached respectively to the left arm and the right arm, and configured to be secured to a left side and a right side, respectively, of the tablet and the keyboard. The apparatus further includes a back support extending from the top of the main body with a top arm extending from the back support. The top arm is extendable and retractable relative to the back support along a plane that intersects the top of the main body at an oblique angle.
Display Stand Unit
Systems disclosed herein are directed to a display stand unit for a retail environment. The display stand unit includes a base having an interior and a display stand. The display stand includes a stem that connects to and extends upwardly from the base and a receiving surface that is suspended above and spaced away from the base by the stem. The receiving surface is configured to releasably hold an electronic device above and spaced away from the base. The display stand unit further includes a security cable that extends out from the base. The security cable is configured to attach to the electronic device to movably secure the electronic device to the base. The display stand unit further includes a retractor disposed within the interior of the base and connected to the security cable. The retractor automatically retracts the security cable.
SECURITY TAG
This invention relates to security tags for use in a retail environment. In particular, this invention relates to security tags that may be attached to an item and may be used to suspend or hang the item in a retail display. A security tag for attachment to an object comprises a main body including an electronic article surveillance (EAS) sensor and a first aperture; a retainer including a second aperture, the retainer being connected to the main body and being moveable between a first position and a second position relative to the main body; and a securing mechanism comprising a first part provided on the main body and a second part provided on the retainer. In the first position the securing mechanism is not engaged and an object is insertable between the main body and the retainer, and in the second position the securing mechanism is engaged to retain the retainer in the second position and the first aperture is aligned with the second aperture. The EAS sensor is configured to be deactivated.
Two-alarm shoe tag
Disclosed is a two-alarm security device that will alarm if the security device is forcibly removed from an article or item without detachment by a corresponding detachment device, and the security device will cause the pedestals in a store to alarm if the article or item is passed through the pedestals with the device still attached. The two-alarm security device comprises a slider operatively movable along a stop piece and a spring-biased engagement member that is operatively moveable into the housing of the stop piece. As the slider and engagement member move from an open position to a closed position, the security device alarm is actuated. A pressure pad attached to the engagement member assists in gently, but sufficiently securing an article between the slider and engagement member. If the article is improperly removed from the security device or otherwise tampered with, the spring-biased engagement member will cause a micro-switch to alarm.
