Product securement and management system
A method of providing a merchandising system that includes a base supporting a product, configuring a housing to engage the base, wherein the base comprises a top wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall, configuring a rotatable door assembly to slidably engage the housing and the base, wherein the rotatable door assembly is configured with a door to hold the product, wherein the door is configured to move from a closed position to an open position, connecting a door spacer to the door and configuring the door spacer bar to rotate away from a front of the door, and mounting a locking assembly to the base.
Mounting base for a wirelessly locatable tag
A mounting base for use with a wirelessly locatable tag may include a base portion defining a latching member configured to engage a wirelessly locatable tag to releasably retain the wirelessly locatable tag to the mounting base, a contact block attached to the base portion and configured to be positioned at least partially within a battery cavity of the wirelessly locatable tag, the contact block defining a top side and a peripheral side. The mounting base may further include a first conductive member positioned along the peripheral side of the contact block and configured to contact a first battery contact in the battery cavity of the wirelessly locatable tag, a second conductive member outwardly biased from the top side of the contact block, the second conductive member configured to contact a second battery contact in the battery cavity of the tag, and a power cable coupled to the base portion.
SECURITY APPARATUS FOR PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A security apparatus for a portable electronic device includes a lock mechanism. A lock cylinder is configured to be rotated by a key. A cam member is coupled to the lock cylinder for rotation with the lock cylinder between an engaged position and a disengaged position. A first finger and a second finger are configured to be inserted into an aperture of the portable electronic device. The plunger is positioned between the first finger and the second finger. A user input member coupled to the plunger is selectively actuatable to move the plunger relative to the first and second fingers. When the cam member is in the engaged position, the user input member is precluded from moving from a first position to a second position. When the cam member is in the disengaged position, the user input member is capable of moving from the first position to the second position.
SYSTEM FOR DISPLAYING A PORTABLE ARTICLE
A support assembly for displaying a portable article having a frame to engage the portable article and a blocking assembly configured with a plurality of arms to maintain the portable article in a display position on the frame. One of the arms is part of a first component. At least a first connector on the first component and at least a first connector on the frame are configured so that the first component can be moved in a first direction: a) from a pre-assembly position, spaced from the frame, towards the frame; and b) into an operative position to thereby cause the at least first connector on the first component to engage the at least first connector on the frame. In the operative position, the first component is substantially blocked from translating relative to the frame in a direction transversely to the first direction.
SYSTEM FOR DISPLAYING A PORTABLE ARTICLE

One of the arms is part of a first component. At least a first connector on the first component and at least a first connector on the frame are configured so that the first component can be moved in a first direction: a) from a pre-assembly position, spaced from the frame, towards the frame; and b) into an operative position to thereby cause the at least first connector on the first component to engage the at least first connector on the frame. In the operative position, the first component is substantially blocked from translating relative to the frame in a direction transversely to the first direction.
Magnetically-locking retractable tag with anti-defeat impact protection
Systems and methods for operating a security tag. The methods comprise: causing a plunger of the security tag to engage a latch of the security tag; preventing, by an anti-defeat structure of the security tag, a disengagement between the plunger and the latch when an impact force is applied to the security tag; and allowing, by the anti-defeat structure, the plunger to disengage the latch when a magnetic field is applied to the security tag.
Systems and methods for magnet-equipped locks
The disclosed computer-implemented method may include a magnetic insertable lock component with a magnet-sensing lock housing. By using a magnet within a pin and a magnetic field sensor within the lock housing, the apparatus may accurately detect the state of the lock. In some embodiments, the apparatus may determine the pin is inserted fully into the lock, the pin is inserted partially into the lock, the pin is not inserted in the lock, and/or that a foreign object that is not the pin is inserted into the lock. By using a magnet within the pin to track the state of the lock, the apparatus may improve both the user experience and the security of the lock. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.
Security apparatus for the functional display of portable electronic devices
A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device comprises a support and a guide positioned within the support and defining a plurality of surface features. At least two holders are partially positioned between the guide and the support and define a plurality of complimentary surface features. A lock assembly is configured move between an unlocked state and a locked state. In an unlocked state, the at least two holders are enabled to move in a first direction that is away from the support and in an opposing second direction to move the at least two holders towards the support. In a locked state, the lock assembly moves the guide to clamp the at least two holders between the guide and the support to engage the surface features of the guide with those of the holders and inhibit movement of the at least two holders in the first direction.
Methods and apparatuses for removing a security tag
Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable media for receiving a confirmation signal to unlock the security tag from being locked to a merchandise, transmitting a RFID signal to the RFID device associated with the security tag to enable a controller to receive a release signal used to unlock the security tag from the merchandise, and transmitting the release signal to the controller to unlock the security tag from the merchandise.
STORAGE CONTAINER SHELF SECURING SYSTEM
A storage container shelf securing system, in one embodiment, may include a base configured to be coupled to a storage container and a shelf between two shelf arms extending upwardly from the base.
