AIR BRAKE VALVE SAFETY AND SECURITY GUARD
A safety device for vehicles with air brakes that can be attached in conjunction with a parking brake that will provide protection from unintended brake releases due to the parking brake control valve knob being bumped or pushed. The said invented guard can also be locked for security and theft protection.
BED ILLUMINATION AND TAILGATE LOCK SYSTEM
A bed illumination and tailgate lock system is presented that includes a bed light and tailgate lock controller connected to a bed light system and a tailgate lock system and tailgate pull handle actuator. The bed light and tailgate lock controller is electrically connected to the wiring system of a vehicle and receives control signals, in the form of power being sent to the brake lights, and in response to receiving these control signals bed light and tailgate lock controller locks and unlocks the tailgate and illuminates the bed of the vehicle.

LATCH FOR BENCH
A latch for a bench includes a bracket, a dual cam, and a handle. The latch engages to strikers to secure the latch in a closed position. The handle is pivotally engaged to the bracket. An upward or lifting movement applied to the handle moves the dual cam upward. The dual cam includes ramp surfaces which drive locking bolts inward to disengage from the strikers.

DOOR CONTROL SYSTEM, CONTROL DEVICE, AND MOBILE DEVICE
In a door control system, a reservation signal is transmitted when a user operates a mobile device and reserves opening a door, a control device transmits a reservation acceptance signal and starts transmitting a response request signal upon receipt of the reservation signal. When the mobile device receives the reservation acceptance signal, a mobile device memory stores information indicating that the reservation is accepted and authorized and a notification unit notifies the user of authorization. When the mobile device receives the response request signal, the mobile device transmits a response signal including the stored information indicating authorization. When the control device receives the response signal including the information indicating authorization in response to the response request signal, a controller performs at least one of unlocking or opening the door.

Door Latch With Delayed Return Mechanism
A delayed return mechanism, such as for a door latch, including a housing having a hole with an axis, a cavity in the housing at least partially filled with a fluid media, a hub disposed in the cavity including a spindle hole coaxial with the hole in the housing including teeth within the spindle hole to engage a spindle, the hub being rotatable about the axis and having a fin extending radially outward in the cavity, and a channel through which the fluid media passes during rotation of the hub to control flow of the fluid media about the cavity.
VEHICLE DOOR LOCK APPARATUS
A vehicle door lock apparatus includes housings respectively having a housing chamber and a latch chamber formed therein, a latch mechanism housed in the latch chamber and being configured to retain a door closed with respect to a vehicle frame, and an actuating mechanism housed in the housing chamber for actuating the latch mechanism. A first and a second switch are housed in one of the latch chamber and the housing chamber, and respectively detect states of the actuating mechanism and the latch mechanism. A plurality of terminals is arranged in a first row and a second row in the housing. The first switch is connected to terminals in the first row and the second switch is connected to terminals in the second row such that the plurality of terminals is sandwiched by the first switch and the second switch.
DOOR HANDLE LOCATOR SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A door handle locator system for a vehicle includes one or more modalities that provide sensory feedback to a user indicating a location of a door handle that is part of a door of the vehicle. The door handle locator system also includes one or more controllers in electronic communication with the one or more modalities. The one or more controllers execute instructions to receive a wireless signal indicating a location of the user with respect to the vehicle. The one or more controllers determine the user is approaching the vehicle based on the location of the user with respect to the vehicle. In response to determining the user is approaching the vehicle, the one or more controllers instruct the one or more modalities to provide the sensory feedback to the user indicating the location of the door handle.
