Window opening control systems and methods
11454055 · 2022-09-27 · ·

A fenestration system is disclosed. In some examples, the fenestration system includes one or more movable window sashes and a toggle assembly. In some examples, the toggle assembly operates to limit the degree to which the window sashes are opened or otherwise moved relative to one another. In some examples, a window sash may be opened a designated amount before the toggle assembly operates to obstruct it from being further opened.

Pivotable Bolt

Locking device with mechanical detection of closing and opening

A locking device includes a locking pair having a bolt to engage with a retainer and a detection linkage. The bolt is movably mounted against a spring which tends to return the bolt to a position spaced apart from the retainer. The detection linkage is also movably mounted between an unlocked position where the detection linkage allows unlocking of the bolt and the retainer. In particular, a portion of the bolt then engages with the detection linkage by means of a detecting part of the detection linkage to block a possible return of the detection linkage towards a locked position where the detection linkage engages with the portion of the bolt so as to oppose to unlocking of the bolt. The detecting part irreversibly drives the detection linkage to its unlocked position even when one locking pair is unlocked.

Gravity Gate Latch Lockable and Unlockable by a Padlock from Both Sides of a Gate
20170321460 · 2017-11-09 ·

A gravity gate latch that is sized and configured to be positioned in the gap between the free end of a gate and a stationary object when the end of the gate is adjacent the stationary object to automatically engage a strike member on the gate. The gate latch has a pair of side plates that are spaced apart to define a space that encloses a lever actuating mechanism and a hook plate. The hook plate has a hook member that engages the strike member of the gate. The lever actuating mechanism has a pair of lever arms, which can be accessed from either side of the gate, that move the hook plate upward to disengage the strike member. A lock receiving member at the bottom of the gate latch receives a padlock to lock the gate latch. The padlock can also be accessed from either side of the gate.

SINGLE RELEASE LATCHING SYSTEM WITH MULTIPLE INDEPENDENTLY LATCHING LATCH ASSEMBLIES
20220228407 · 2022-07-21 · ·

A latching system includes a guide body, and a latch rod slidably retained by the guide body. Latch assemblies fixed to the latch rod, are spaced apart from one another, and independently biased to a latched position. A first rod-biasing spring is coaxial with the latch rod and disposed between the guide body and a first latch assembly. The first rod-biasing spring biases the latch rod to a rest position corresponding with a latched position of the latch assemblies. Multiple catches are secured at a spacing equal to a spacing of the latch assemblies on the latch rod such that the latch assemblies latch to the catches independently of one another. A force on the latch rod against the first rod-biasing spring moves the latch rod along the longitudinal axis of the latch rod from a rest position to an actuated position and unlatches the latch assemblies simultaneously.

Container and latching system

A container having a base and a lid is provided. The lid may be rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration and may be secured, via one or more latching assemblies. The latching assembly may comprise a latch body, a locking member, a biasing member, and an activating member. Additional features of the container may include handles and strength increasing features. The base and lid may also feature attachment points for various accessories.

DOOR HANDLE ARRANGEMENT WITH INTERMEDIATE OPENING POSITION
20220205274 · 2022-06-30 ·

The present application relates to a handle arrangement for a door, comprising a handle arranged to move rotationally around a rotational axis between an open state and a closed state, a locking means for engaging with a locking element on a door frame, an intermediate link arranged between the handle and the locking means and arranged for transforming the rotational movement of the handle to substantially linear movement of the locking means, and a connection element. The handle is connected to the intermediate link by the connection element, and the intermediate link is arranged to perform a movement following an arcuate path when the handle is moved between the open state and the closed state.
