Retractable latch hook shroud assembly
A retractable latch hook shroud assembly includes a base plate, a first post, a second post, a shroud, and a spring biasing mechanism. The first post extends from the base plate in a first direction. The second post extends from the base plate in the first direction, and the second post is spaced away from the first post in a direction orthogonal to the first direction. A shroud has an end wall and a side wall that extends away from the end wall. The side wall defines a latch hook recess. The end wall has a first hole and a second hole. The first hole is configured to slidably receive the first post and the second hole is configured to slidably receive the second post. The spring biasing mechanism is interposed between the base plate and the end wall of the shroud.
Quiet latch for a locking device
A locking device for a door located at a door frame having a door strike. The locking device includes an actuator having a neutral position and a displaced position, and a latchbolt assembly having an extended position configured to engage the door strike, and a retracted position configured to move past the door strike. The latchbolt assembly includes a latchbolt link configured to move the latchbolt in response to movement of the actuator. A first dampening device is disposed adjacent to the latchbolt link, with the dampening device resiliently engaging the latchbolt link as the latchbolt link moves from the retracted position to the extended position. The first dampening device limits movement of the latchbolt link. A second dampening device is configured to restrain movement of the latchbolt during movement from the retracted position to the extended position.
Quiet latch for a locking device
A locking device for a door located at a door frame having a door strike. The latchbolt assembly includes a latchbolt link configured to move the latchbolt in response to movement of the actuator. A first dampening device is disposed adjacent to the latchbolt link, with the dampening device resiliently engaging the latchbolt link as the latchbolt link moves from the retracted position to the extended position. The first dampening device limits movement of the latchbolt link. A second dampening device is configured to restrain movement of the latchbolt during movement from the retracted position to the extended position.
Electric lock device for opening and closing body
An electric locking device for an operable/closable member attached to an opening portion, includes a biasing member which biases a pair of rods in a direction in which the rods are brought into engagement with a pair of locking portions, an actuator for sliding the rods to disengage from the locking portions, the actuator having a case having an opening portion, a motor disposed within the case, a worm rotated by the motor and a worm wheel supported rotatably on the case and interlocked with the worm for rotation. The worm wheel has a rotating portion projecting outwards of the case from the opening portion, and proximal end portions of the rods are assembled individually to the rotating portion so as to move in an associated fashion, causing the rods to slide in a synchronized fashion in opposite directions to each other.

A gate latch arranged to be mounted to either a gate or gate post and adapted to co-operate with a component mounted on the other of the gate or gate post to hold the gate closed, the gate latch comprising: a latch mechanism, and a housing containing at least a portion of the latch mechanism, the housing being configured to receive at least one latch accessory to modify the gate latch.

The present invention relates to a device (100) for holding an opening element in an ajar position on a stationary part of a body of a motor vehicle, comprising a spacing element (1) provided to be attached to a stationary part of the vehicle body or to the opening element, the spacing element (1) comprising a base (10) provided for attaching the spacing element (1) to the stationary part or to the opening element, characterized in that the spacing element (1) comprises: a connecting member (30) attached to the base (10) and comprising an elastically deformable zone (32) designed to deform under the action of stresses exerted by a holding member presented by the opening element (200) or the stationary part, a retaining member (40) attached to the connecting member (30) and comprising an elastically deformable zone (41) designed to deform under the action of stresses exerted by the holding member.
Locking device for opening/closing body
There is provided a lock device for an opening/closing body that is attached to an opening portion of a fixed body so as to be openable and closable. The lock device includes lock portions, a pair of rods, a manipulation unit, and a link unit. The opening/closing body or the fixed body has an installation surface on which the link unit is installed, and the installation surface is provided with a holding portion which holds the link unit. One of the base portion and the holding portion is formed with a bendable elastic engagement piece or pieces, and the base portion is installed on the installation surface as a result of the elastic engagement piece or pieces being engaged with the other of the base portion and the holding portion.

There is provided a lock device for an opening/closing body that is attached to an opening portion of a fixed body so as to be openable and closable. The lock device includes lock portions, a pair of rods, a manipulation unit, and a link unit. The opening/closing body or the fixed body has an installation surface on which the link unit is installed, and the installation surface is provided with a holding portion which holds the link unit. One of the base portion and the holding portion is formed with a bendable elastic engagement piece or pieces, and the base portion is installed on the installation surface as a result of the elastic engagement piece or pieces being engaged with the other of the base portion and the holding portion.
VEHICLE DOOR CLIP ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR PAINTING A VEHICLE USING THE SAME
A door clip assembly that utilizes both reusable and disposable components, thereby minimizing material waste and providing significant cost savings. The bulk of the door clip assembly is manufactured from a reusable metal or plastic material that is resistant to both heat and chemicals so that it can be periodically paint stripped and/or cleaned and reused. Only the tip of the door clip assembly is manufactured from a disposable plastic or rubber material that is inexpensive so that it can be discarded, and that can safely contact an exposed surface and/or finish of a vehicle without damaging it. The door clip assembly is easy to install/remove and does not require a driver tool.
