The kit also includes a replacement hinge pin, which, when inserted into the channel and the passageway, reaches the first and second knuckles of the mount defining the channel, and transforms the mount to the anchor.

A second door segment is pivotably coupled to the first door segment to transition the door assembly between the closed position and a half-open position, whereat the second door segment partially uncovers the basin opening.
