Aircraft having Versatile Door Systems

A versatile door system for an aircraft includes forward and aft door assemblies. The forward door assembly includes a forward hingeable door hingeably coupled to the airframe proximate a forward location of an aircraft opening and a forward slidable door slidably coupled to the forward hingeable door. The aft door assembly includes an aft hingeable door hingeably coupled to the airframe proximate an aft location of the aircraft opening and an aft slidable door slidably coupled to the aft hingeable door. In a closed configuration, the forward hingeable door, the forward slidable door, the aft hingeable door and the aft slidable door are securably disposed within the aircraft opening. In operation, the forward hingeable door, the forward slidable door, the aft hingeable door and the aft slidable door are individually operable to collectively provide access to a selectable width of the aircraft opening.

A heating appliance includes an appliance cabinet having a plurality of sidewalls that defining a heating cavity. A door is operably connected to at least one of the sidewalls and operable between open and closed positions. A vertical translating assembly extends from the appliance cabinet to the door. The vertical translating assembly includes drive and offset arms and a power assist mechanism in operable communication with the drive arm. The power assist mechanism at least partially operates the door between the open and closed positions.

DOOR OPERATOR SYSTEM WITH ADAPTOR AND BACK PLATE

Door operator systems are described herein that include the use of an adaptor. It should be understood that the adaptor may be utilized in order to operatively couple separate door operator assemblies together in a double door operator system. The adaptor may include control components (e.g., switches, buttons, toggles, levers, or the like) that are used to turn the door operator system on and off. While the adaptor may be used to operatively couple two separate door operator assemblies together to form a double door operator system, the adaptor may also be used within a single door operator system. Furthermore, with respect to double door operator systems, the system may also utilize a back plate assembly comprising two or more separate back plates (e.g., two or more back plate portions).

The present invention is a power window sync switch for the windows of a vehicle that permits controlling all windows by a single active home or main control window switch. It permits the driver to move all window panels in the vehicle to the same position at the same time. The power window sync switch sends a signal to a micro-processor within the switch to indicate that the window position selected via the actuated switch is to be applied to all window panels simultaneously. The micro-processor within the switch may then proceed to actuate all window lift motors within the vehicle, causing movement of all window panels to the appropriate positions.

For a passageway including first and second chambers, three electronically controlled doorways are included: one between the two chambers; one between a first chamber and a first area; and one between the second chamber and a second area. Sensors are included to determine how many subjects have entered a chamber. Sensors are also included to determine if a subject represents a threat. Subjects determined to represent a threat may be detained or encouraged to reverse direction and exit the passageway through the door where they entered. When a subject is determined to represent a threat, an alarm is optionally sounded.
