Lid construction for breathing apparatus
A breathing assistance apparatus has a lid and latch assembly configured for one-handed operation. The apparatus also includes a hinge assembly that separates when over-rotated but that reengages upon closing of the lid onto the main body of the apparatus.
Portable safe with two-point latching mechanism
A safe comprises a housing having a first housing portion and a second housing defining an interior compartment for storage of items, the second housing portion being pivotal with respect to the first housing portion between closed and open positions. A latching mechanism cooperates with spaced apart first and second strikers to maintain the second housing portion in the closed position. The latching mechanism includes movable first and second locking elements that engage respective of the first and second strikers when the second housing portion is being maintained in the closed position. The first and second locking elements are retracted away from the first and second strikers to release the second housing portion into the open position. A motor having a rotatable output shaft carries a drive dog. A rotating plate rotatable about an axis is also provided, the rotating plate having an engaging element that is driven by the drive dog. First and second levers are pivotally connected at their proximal ends to the rotating plate at substantially diametrically opposed locations, distal ends of the first and second levers being connected to the locking elements.
Hinged device
The description relates to hinged devices, such as hinged computing devices. One example can include a first portion and a second portion. The example can also include a determinative hinge assembly rotatably securing hinge ends of the first and second portions around a first hinge axis associated with the first portion and a second hinge axis associated with the second portion. The determinative hinge assembly includes a detent-priority sub-assembly that controls an order of rotation around the first and second axes with a first detent associated with the first hinge axis that has a different depth than a second detent associated with the second hinge axis.
METHOD OF USING A DOG TOY CONTAINER, AND A DOG TOY CONTAINER
A dog toy container can be used to store dog toys or consumable objects, such as chew toys, ropes, balls, stuffed animals, edible chews, bones, and other similar objects used to entertain or reward or please dogs. The abstract of the disclosure is submitted herewith as required by 37 C.F.R. ? 1.72(b). As stated in 37 C.F.R. ? 1.72(b): A brief abstract of the technical disclosure in the specification must commence on a separate sheet, preferably following the claims, under the heading Abstract of the Disclosure. The purpose of the abstract is to enable the Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally to determine quickly from a cursory inspection the nature and gist of the technical disclosure. The abstract shall not be used for interpreting the scope of the claims. Therefore, any statements made relating to the abstract are not intended to limit the claims in any manner and should not be interpreted as limiting the claims in any manner.
Machine tool
The present invention provides machine tool having a door of which the position is changed between the time of machining and when nothing is being machined, and where the moving speed of the door can be changed. The machine tool is provided with: a drive unit that can move the door; a control unit that can control the drive unit for moving the door; a safety signal input unit that takes in a safety signal from the outside of the machine tool; and a door opening and closing speed setting unit that can set the moving speed of the door to a first moving speed in the case where a safety signal is inputted into the signal input unit or to a second moving speed in the case where no safety signal is inputted, and is characterized in that the first moving speed is higher than the second moving speed.
DOCUMENT COVER CLOSER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT HAVING THE SAME
An object of the invention is to provide a document cover closer as well as office equipment having such a document cover closer, wherein it is possible to finely adjust a spring force and to set its adjusting range within a wide range, as well as to downsize the apparatus.
To achieve the above-mentioned object, in a document cover closer 5 according to the invention, a supporting part 20 is rotatably attached to an attaching part 10 being a base via a first hinge pin 81, and a lift part 30 to which the document cover is fixed is rotatably attached to the supporting part 20. In an elastic force adjusting portion 60, as the document cover is opened and the supporting part 20 is erected, the spring force adjusting screw 80 extending perpendicular to an axial direction of the first hinge pin 81 is rotated; then, as the spring force adjusting cam plate 61 moves in a forward and backward direction along cam tracks of cam surfaces 52L, 52R extending along a forward and backward direction of the second spring receiving portion 42, a spring sheet plate 70 as well moves integrally to compress or expand a first coil spring 43 and the second coil spring 44 to adjust a spring force.
FEATURES FOR CABLE MANAGERS AND OTHER ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT STRUCTURES
A cable manager includes a backbone assembly and at least one side wall extending from the backbone assembly. The at least one side wall optionally includes one or more cable finger units. The backbone assembly includes a spine member having an extruded construction. The spine member includes one or more channels extending substantially an entire length thereof to facilitate easy attachment, removal and/or repositioning of a structure relative to the spine member. The cable manager optionally includes an accessory rod, a half-spool assembly, a cable finger accessory, a strap/buckle accessory, and/or a door assembly having an interference-free hinge set.
