Selectively Lockable Box and Method of Use
A selectively lockable box and a method of using the box are described. The locking structure for the box may have a first bar, a second bar and a lock housing. The first and second bar engage with one another, and the lock, to lock the box. The first bar may be horizontally oriented to lock a box lid, and the second bar may be a vertically oriented to lock other access areas of the box.
Information Handling System Narrow Width Hinge
An information handling system narrow width dual axes hinge rotationally couples portable information handling system housing portions to each other with minimal spacing between the housing portions. A gear assembly synchronizes motion about the dual axles at one end of the dual axles, the gear assembly having brackets to couple to each housing portion. Torque brackets couple to the opposite end of the dual axles, each torque bracket couple to a housing portion and resisting rotation of the housing portions by generating friction at the axle.
Injection molded housing
An injection molded housing includes a first piece, a second piece, and a wall defined by the first piece removably joined to the second piece by a joint at abutting surfaces of the first piece and the second piece. A central catch is integrally molded with the first piece, protruding from the wall. A latch is integrally molded with the second piece, and connected to the second piece first and second living hinges. A half-knuckle is integrally molded with the second piece, protruding from the wall. A hinge pin is fixedly attached to the latch. The latch is bendable at the living hinges to align the hinge pin with the half-knuckle. The latch is rotatable about the hinge pin to engage the central catch and selectably prevent the first piece from being disengaged from the second piece.
LID CONSTRUCTION FOR BREATHING APPARATUS
A breathing assistance apparatus has a lid and latch assembly configured for one-handed operation. The apparatus also includes a hinge assembly that separates when over-rotated but that reengages upon closing of the lid onto the main body of the apparatus.
Electronic device and hinge assembly thereof
An electronic device and a hinge assembly thereof are provided. The hinge assembly includes a first and a second fixed block, a first and a second polyline rod, a damper rod and a fastener. The first fixed block has a first and a second end, the second fixed block has a third and a fourth end, and the first polyline rod has a fifth and a sixth end, wherein the fifth end is connected to the second end, and the sixth end is connected to the fourth end. The second polyline rod has a seventh connected to the fourth end, and an eighth end, connected to the second end and the sixth end. The damper rod is slidably disposed on the first fixed block, the fastener is fixed to the first fixed block, and a distal end of the damper rod is fastened into the fastener.
Pivot structure assembly and electronic device
A pivot structure assembly including a fixed cover and a hinge module is provided. The hinge module includes a torque element, a first shaft, a second shaft, a first bracket and a second bracket. The torque element is fixed on the fixed cover and has a first and a second axle sleeves, parallely disposed at two opposite sides of the torque element. The first shaft is disposed through the first axle sleeve, and the second shaft is disposed through the second axle sleeve. The first bracket is pivotally disposed on the torque element through the first shaft, and the second bracket pivotally disposed on the torque element through the second shaft. When the first and second brackets rotate relatively to the torque element, the first and second axle sleeves respectively provide different friction forces to the first and second shafts. In addition, an electronic device is also mentioned.
Hinged device
The description relates to devices, such as computing devices that have hinged portions. One example can include a first portion and a second portion. The first portion can define a first hinge axis and can be resiliently biased toward the first hinge axis. The second portion can define a second hinge axis and can be resiliently biased toward the second hinge axis. A first cam can operate relative to the first hinge axis and is slidably secured to the first portion. A second cam can operate relative to the second hinge axis and can be slidably secured to the first portion. When the first and second portions are oriented at an acute angle the second cam can force the second portion away from the second hinge axis while the first cam can allow the first portion to remain biased toward the first hinge axis.
Friction hinge
A friction hinge is described. In at least some implementations, the described friction hinge enables a support component to be adjustably attached to an apparatus, such as a computing device. According to various implementations, a friction hinge includes different friction stages where movement of the hinge is based on different activity mechanisms.
Server systems with hinge mechanisms
Examples herein relate to server systems with hinge mechanisms. In one example, a server system includes a first enclosure and a second enclosure, the first and second enclosure each include a front end and a back end disposed opposite to each other, the front end having an opening. The server system further includes a hinge mechanism, the hinge mechanism connecting an upper edge of the back end of the first enclosure to an upper edge of the front end of the second enclosure. The first enclosure is adapted to rotate around the hinge mechanism.
Foldable display device and method for manufacturing the same
A foldable display device according to example embodiments includes a support member including a first support portion, a second support portion, and a hinge portion connected between the first support portion and the second support portion, the support member being divided into an adhesive area and a non-adhesive area, a coating layer on the non-adhesive area of the support member, an adhesive member integrally on the adhesive area of the support member and the coating layer, and a foldable display module attached on the adhesive member.
