HINGE STRUCTURE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH THE SAME
An electronic device may comprise a first housing structure including a first conductive part and a second housing structure including a second conductive part. The hinge structure may include a metallic bracket including a first conductive part and a second conductive part and a first cylindrical through hole and a second cylindrical through hole, a first cylindrical insulating bushing at least partially positioned inside the first through hole, a second cylindrical insulating bushing at least partially positioned inside the second through hole, a first conductive shaft contacting the first conductive part and extending through the first insulating bushing, a second conductive shaft contacting the second conductive part and extending through the second insulating bushing, and a conductive connector contacting the first conductive shaft and the second conductive shaft and configured to form an electrical path from the first conductive part to the second conductive part.
STAND FRAME AND HINGE
An example system in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure includes a stand frame and a display device. The stand frame includes a stand tongue and the display device includes a hinge. The hinge is substantially concealed behind a cover portion of the display device such that only a hinge sleeve component protrudes from the display device. The stand tongue is to insert into the hinge sleeve component to attach the stand frame to the display device, and to detach from the hinge sleeve component by depression of a release button located on the hinge sleeve component.
Hinge for an electronic device
Particular embodiments described herein provide for device that includes a first housing that includes a first module, a second housing that includes a second module, and a hinge that rotatable couples the first housing to the second housing. The hinge can include a first axle, a second axle, and a plurality of hinge links. At least one of the hinge links includes an interconnect to provide a communication path between the first module and the second module.
Hinge assembly including an elastomer member
A hinge assembly includes a first bracket and a second bracket. The first bracket includes a first attachment member, a pin member and an elastomer member. The second bracket includes a second attachment member and a hollow cylinder member.
Adjustable spring hinge and gate
A gate has an adjustable spring hinge with an L-shaped member joining a first bracket to a second bracket by a rotatable bolt that extends through the L-shaped member and threadingly engages a sleeve. One end of the L-shaped member is coupled to the adjustable spring hinge, which is coupled to one of the two brackets. The other of the two brackets includes the sleeve that engages a threaded shaft of the bolt. Thus, a gap width between the first bracket and the second bracket is adjusted by rotating the bolt in a first direction or a second direction, opposite of the first direction.
SMARTPAD WINDOW MANAGEMENT
A multi-display device is adapted to be dockable or otherwise associatable with an additional device. In accordance with one exemplary embodiment, the multi-display device is dockable with a smartpad. The exemplary smartpad can include a screen, a touch sensitive display, a configurable area, a gesture capture region(s) and a camera. The smartpad can also include a port adapted to receive the device. The exemplary smartpad is able to cooperate with the device such that information displayable on the device is also displayable on the smartpad. Furthermore, any one or more of the functions on the device are extendable to the smartpad, with the smartpad capable of acting as an input/output interface or extension of the smartpad. Therefore, for example, information from one or more of the displays on the multi-screen device is displayable on the smartpad.
SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE USING THE SAME
Disclosed is a supporting component, including a pivoting frame, a rotary bracket, and a support frame. The pivoting frame includes an accommodation space and a plurality of stop grooves. The rotary bracket has a first end portion and a second end portion, where the first end portion is pivotally disposed on the pivoting frame. The support frame is pivotally disposed on the rotary bracket, where an abutting piece is provided on one end of the support frame away from the rotary bracket. When the supporting assembly is in a use state, the rotary bracket causes, by using the first end portion as an axis of rotation, the second end portion to keep away from the accommodation space, and the support frame rotates relative to the rotary bracket, so that the abutting piece of the support frame abuts against any one of the stop grooves.
SHEET CONVEYING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet conveying apparatus to convey a sheet to an image forming unit includes a main body, an opening/closing member, and first, second, and third portions. The opening/closing member can be opened and closed with respect to the main body, and the first, second, and third portions pivotably support the opening/closing member. The second support portion is provided below the first support portion and above the third support portion. Each of the first, second, and third portions include a projecting portion and a hole portion. A difference between a greatest length of the third projecting portion and a diameter of the third hole portion is larger than a difference between a greatest length of the first projecting portion and a diameter of the first hole portion and is larger than a difference between a greatest length of the second projecting portion and a diameter of the second hole portion.
Transportable transparent cork-insulated cooler
A cork-insulated cooler having a constant friction hinge assembly is described. The cooler is comprised of an outer basin having an open top, a plurality of cork panels lining the outer basin, a transparent inner basin having an open top which is constructed and arranged to hold and maintain the plurality of cork panels against the outer basin, a lid hingedly connected to the inner and outer basin, such that the lid can be positioned anywhere between a completely closed position to a completely open position and anywhere in between with the lid supporting itself in the chosen position.
High strength hinge mechanism
A high strength hinge mechanism is described herein. In one or more implementations, a computing device includes a display portion which includes a display device, and a base portion which includes a keyboard. A hinge mechanism is attached to the display portion and the base portion to enable rotation of the display portion relative to the base portion. The hinge mechanism includes a friction element and a cylindrical shaft secured to the friction element and to a chassis of the display portion. The friction element is configured to apply friction to the shaft in a radial direction as the shaft is rotated. The rotation of the shaft enables the display portion to be rotated from a closed position to a fully-open position. The hinge mechanism also includes a frame structure to support the friction element and the shaft.
