Smart Ladder
A ladder including sensors, a controller, and output signals to alert the user to operating conditions and to aid the user in the safe operation of the ladder.
DEVICE FOR PREVENTION OF LADDER USE
The invention, according to an embodiment, is a foldable, adjustable, and lockable cover for a plurality of rungs of a ladder. The device renders a ladder prohibitively difficult to climb. In an embodiment, the device is attached to a ladder using a lock, such as a bike lock or padlock, at a top portion of the device, rendering it difficult to for an unauthorized user to climb the ladder to cut any lock holding the device in place and/or remove the ladder.
Ladder assembly having an integrated shoulder rest
A ladder assembly having an integrated shoulder rest for facilitating moving of the ladder includes a stepladder that comprises a pair of front rails and a pair of rear rails. Each of a plurality of first cutouts extends arcuately into an inside face of a respective front rail. Each of a plurality of second cutouts extends arcuately into an inner face of a respective rear rail so that the second cutout is aligned with an associated first cutout when the front rails and the rear rails are in a collapsed configuration. The second cutout and the associated first cutout are configured to insert a shoulder of a user, positioning the user to carry the stepladder.
Smart Safety Ladder
The smart safety ladder is an electronic safety device installed to standard construction ladders to prevent misuse of the ladder and ultimately keep workers safe. The top two rungs of the ladder are equipped with motion sensors that once triggered, turn on a red light and a beeping warning. Another safety feature is a motion sensor and level sensor on the bottom rung that will trigger a green light and an audible sound that will notify the person that he or she is on the bottom step. The smart safety ladder has an on and off switch which will activate and deactivate the ladder's electronic sensors, lights, and alarm system when you open and close the A frame ladder. A safety lock switch may be used to keep the ladder locked in place in fully open position. The smart electrical safety system can be installed on all standard construction ladders.
Remote anchoring apparatus
A remote anchoring apparatus is mad of two elements, an anchoring element and a connecting element. The connecting element is formed to be guided into a respective space made in the anchoring element and be locked in it. The connecting element may be guided towards the anchoring element by a flexible pulling means such as a rope pulled through the anchoring element.
LADDER
A ladder having a frame with three leg members wherein the leg members are adjustable in length so as to provide a level orientation of the ladder subsequent the ladder being superposed an uneven support surface. The frame includes two rear leg members and a front leg member having a platform member operably coupled to the top thereof. The front leg member is hingedly secured to the platform member and movable between a deployed and stored position. The three leg members include an upper portion and a lower portion wherein the lower portion is slidably engaged with the upper portion. A clamp member is disposed in each of the three leg members and is configured to operably engage a portion of the lower portion of each of the three leg members. The clamp member includes opposing jaw members with a void therebetween.
ANIMAL CLIMBING COVER FOR LADDERS
A removable and safe covering adapted to be placed over the entire length of an existing ladder thereby covering the rungs and the spaces therebetween and providing a surface for animals to be able to traverse upwards and downwards along the length of the ladder without falling between the rungs and becoming injured.
Climbing stick extender
The present invention generally relates to an extender attachable to a conventional climbing stick and to a climbing stick comprising same. The present invention generally relates to an extender attachable to a conventional climbing stick and to a climbing stick comprising same.
