Adjustable split thrust ring
Provided is an adjustable split thrust ring and a drilling system including the same. The adjustable split thrust ring, in one embodiment, includes a downhole split ring including two or more separate downhole pieces, the two or more separate downhole pieces fitting together to form a substantially circular downhole shoulder surrounding a substantially circular driveshaft. The adjustable split thrust ring further includes an uphole split ring positionable proximate the downhole split ring and including two or more separate uphole pieces, the two or more separate uphole pieces fitting together to form a substantially circular uphole shoulder surrounding the substantially circular driveshaft. In this embodiment, the substantially circular downhole shoulder and the substantially circular uphole shoulder are movable relative to one another to adjust to fit a groove in a driveshaft that they are configured to sit.

EXTENDED LASER TOOL
A laser tool apparatus includes a tool body; a fiber optic cable disposed in the tool body, the fiber optic cable including a laser head that emits a laser beam; a reshape optic disposed coaxially downstream of the fiber optic, the reshape optic reshaping the laser beam emitted from the laser head; and a flexible cable attached to the reshape optic. The flexible cable flexibly orients the laser beam at a desired angle within a borehole.

Drill with a boom arm and a self-aligning support system
A drill apparatus mounted to a vehicle; having a vehicle, a boom arm apparatus and a drilling apparatus, wherein a first end of the boom arm apparatus is attached to the vehicle and the drill apparatus is flex ably attached to a second end of the boom arm apparatus via a self aligning apparatus so that the drill apparatus is forced against a surface which is to be drilled via the boom arm apparatus, thus securing the stability of the drill apparatus against the drilling surface and the drill mast is self-aligned substantially perpendicular to the surface to be drilled.

Sealing assembly and related methods
A sealing assembly having a housing having a main cavity, a sealing unit configured to receive a rotatable shaft, and at least a first sealing element, and a second sealing element positioned uphole with respect to the first sealing element along the longitudinal axis. The sealing assembly includes a first valve carried by the housing and coupled to the first sealing element and the main cavity, and configured to open at a first pressure level. The sealing assembly further includes a second valve coupled to the second sealing element and the main cavity, and configured to open at a second pressure level higher than the first pressure level. The sealing assembly is configured such that pressure is distributed across the first and second sealing elements sequentially.

Downhole acoustic systems and related methods of operating a wellbore
A method of operating a wellbore using a plurality of acoustic emission transducers. The method comprises deploying acoustic emission transducers in association with at least one of a member of a drill string, a bottomhole assembly, and a drill bit coupled to the drill string in a wellbore. The acoustic emission transducers are coupled to a controller comprising a processor and memory. The processor is programmed to determine one or more of a frequency of the acoustic emissions, an amplitude of the acoustic emissions, an energy of the acoustic emissions, a duration of the acoustic emissions, a rise time of the acoustic emissions, and a frequency centroid of the acoustic emissions. The method includes measuring acoustic emissions generated by acoustic events originating within the wellbore with the acoustic emission transducers. Downhole acoustic systems for monitoring drilling operations of a wellbore are also disclosed.
