Disclosed herein are device and system for providing shade comprising: a) a deformable screen assembly having a border about its edge, the screen assembly comprising: i) a support frame defining the edge of the screen assembly, and ii) a screen component having at least two apertures for receiving an adjustable arm, the apertures being contained within the screen assembly edge; and; b) an adjustable arm. Also disclosed herein are devices for clamping an object, comprising: a) a spring clip and b) a clamping arm.

A system of solar panels over a water reservoir may include a plurality of piers secured to a floor of the water reservoir and extending from the floor to a fixed elevation above a maximum water elevation of the water reservoir. The deploy and retract assembly operates to move the canopy support assembly to move the canopy into the inner chamber and out of the inner chamber. The system further includes a controller generating control signals to operate the deploy and retract assembly. Specifically, this assembly is configured to retract the canopy by moving the canopy support assembly to move the canopy through the outlet into the inner chamber and further is configured to deploy the canopy by moving the canopy support assembly to move the canopy through the outlet to be at least partially outside of the inner chamber.

At least one solar panel is mounted to the top surface of the canopy. At least one rechargeable battery is provided for capturing and storing the energy from the at least one solar panel. An outlet box is electrically connected to the at least one solar panel and the at least one rechargeable battery. Upon connecting the electronic device to the outlet box, the electronic device Is powered and charged.

A unique foldable mounting bracket assembly for mounting and securing vertically disposed accessories for decks and patios. The folding mounting bracket assembly when supporting vertically disposed cylindrical post requires both an upper and lower bracket. These brackets are mounted to the vertical post.
