Marine Vessel with Shading System
A marine vessel intelligent shading system, including a marine vessel deck surface, a mounting assembly attached to the marine vessel deck surface, a base assembly having a first end attached to the mounting assembly, a first telescoping module connected to a base assembly, the first telescoping module being adjustable to a plurality of heights, and a core assembly module coupled to the first telescoping module. The marine vessel intelligent shading system further includes an expansion sensor module coupled to the core assembly module and the expansion sensor module includes one or more arm support assemblies, one or more arms and a shading fabric. The one or more arms are connected to the one or more arm support assemblies, and the shading fabric is coupled to the one or more arms.
Umbrella with environmental control systems
An umbrella with environmental control systems uses an environmental control system, an electrical control system (ECS), and a fluid delivery system to modify the local environment beneath the umbrella's canopy. The environmental control system has multiple spray nozzles, multiple fans, and multiple heating elements. The spray nozzles mist water onto the user, the fans blow air onto the user, and the heating elements heat up the air beneath the umbrella's canopy. To accomplish this, all of the components of the environmental control system are arranged advantageously beneath the umbrella's canopy. The umbrella has a handle, a support rod, multiple rib members, and a canopy. The support rod acts as a rigid connection channel through which the hoses that connect the spray nozzles to the fluid delivery system run. The ECS is the system that enables the user to selectively activate the various electrical components of the environmental control system.

System and method for providing directions haptically
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage devices for providing directions haptically such that sight and hearing can continue unimpeded. In one exemplary embodiment, a wearable device (such as earphones, ear rings, gloves, glasses, or other wearable objects) configured as disclosed herein receives directions to an intended destination for a user, the directions comprising a movement action and a distance to the movement action. The wearable device has multiple haptic output units and generates, through one of those units, a haptic output based on the directions. This allows the user to receive the directions through touch rather than looking at their mobile device or from audio.
Umbrella support apparatus
An umbrella support apparatus is an adapter device for supporting the shaft of an umbrella or parasol in an upright position. A first jaw panel and a second jaw panel as clamping members to support the shaft within a weighted base, with the first jaw panel and the second jaw panel releasably mounted to the weighted base. A shaft of the umbrella positioned through a shaft aperture in the first jaw panel and the second jaw panel, extending into the attached weighted base. A hinge assembly rotatably connects the first jaw panel to the second jaw panel to enable a user to attach the weighted base or adjust the shaft of the umbrella. Opposite the hinge assembly, a locking mechanism releasably fixes the first jaw panel and the second jaw panel together to prevent the shaft of the umbrella from deflecting within the shaft aperture.
Expandable base
A base having an expandable central chamber which, in the expanded state, forms a sleeve with an end open to the top for receiving a rod, a base element and at least one expandable connecting chamber connecting the central chamber to the base element.

UMBRELLA COMPRISING AN ILLUMINATION FEATURE AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
The invention is a solar and/or battery powered umbrella with a light directing enhancement. Specifically, the umbrella is configured to provide a light within the inside of the umbrella canopy, while also being capable of use as a handheld flashlight. The umbrella includes a handle comprising a grip that allows the user to hold and maneuver the umbrella, as well as control and operate the light source. The umbrella also includes an illuminator positioned above the handle, adjacent to the umbrella canopy. An inner covering is provided to block user light exposure when the illuminator is in use. Advantageously, the disclosed umbrella allows a user to see in the dark while it is raining, and also provides a convenient storage option for both an umbrella and flashlight.
Motorized Solar-Tracking Umbrella Base
A motorized, weighted base for outdoor patio umbrellas that can be controlled by a smartphone via Bluetooth, is solar powered to not need recharging, and moves the umbrella automatically to keep the user in the shade.
