Umbrella pole protecting device
An umbrella pole protecting device is a protective sleeve for the lower pole section of a pool-side umbrella. In other words, the device is a protective sleeve that covers the lower pole section of an umbrella to prevent potential contact of water. Further, the device includes a gasket for providing a water-proof seal between the sleeve and the pole section of the umbrella. Additionally, a water-resistant coating on the protective sleeve prevents the sleeve from being subjected to water damage. Thus, the present invention is a simple yet effective solution for preventing damage of lower pole section of a pool umbrella.

Electronic assembly for a cover supported by a pole
An electronic assembly for a cover supported by a pole is disclosed. The pole defines a top portion associated with a cover and an opposing bottom portion that engages a support surface such as a floor. The electronic assembly may comprise an electronic fan defining a fan body housing a motor that rotates a hub associated with collapsible fan blades. The pole may extend through the body so that the hub rotates about an axis defined by the pole. The body may further slide up and down the pole and engage the pole at a first latch point where it stays while deployed and operating. A power source may be provided to supply the power needed to rotate the hub. A sensor may be disposed at or adjacent to the first latch point and the electronic fan may be disabled when the sensor does not sense the fan body.
Outdoor umbrella with free axial rotation mechanism
An outdoor umbrella with a free axial rotation mechanism includes upper and lower umbrella columns, and a jiggle shell assembly positioned on the upper umbrella column. The jiggle shell assembly includes a jiggle shell and a jiggle mechanism. A travel cavity is formed at the bottom of the jiggle shell. An axial rotation mechanism is arranged on a lower part of the jiggle shell assembly mounting the upper and lower umbrella columns. When the axial rotation mechanism is in an unlocked state, upper umbrella column rotates freely along an axial direction. The axial rotation mechanism comprises a socket-and-spigot mechanism and a locking mechanism arranged outside the upper and lower umbrella columns. An upper end part of locking mechanism is positioned in travel cavity and its height is a travel range of realizing clutching of the locking mechanism; and the socket-and-spigot mechanism is positioned in upper and lower umbrella columns.

Connection Apparatus, System, and Methods for Collapsible Structures
A collapsible structure connection system including apparatus for connecting rod segments and apparatus for holding and organizing rod segments. An apparatus for connecting rod segments, such as a pole tip and final rod segment, or two rod segments, may have a pair of mated rod segments and a spring-loaded push-button locking mechanism, with the rod segments connected using an elastomeric connector attached to each rod segment at adjacent, opposing ends. The elastomeric connector may be attached to and held in place against the rod segment using an attachment assembly that may be threaded or unthreaded, and that may mate, or not mate, within the rod segment upon securing the attachment assembly to the rod segment. The spring-loaded push-button locking mechanism may have a spring-loaded push-button seated on a dowel of a male body, and a cavity aperture traversing a dowel cavity of a female body.
Drone Operated Umbrella
A drone operated umbrella is shown and described. The drone operated umbrella includes a waterproof canopy secured to a framing. The framing is secured to a drone housing. The drone housing has a plurality of arms which extend through the waterproof canopy. Each of the plurality of arms has a propeller rotatably attached to an end of the arm. The drone is comprised of at least one power source. The at least one power source is coupled to at least one motor. The power source is further coupled to a wireless transceiver.
Connection apparatus for collapsible structures
A collapsible structure connection system and method including an apparatus having a pair of mated ferrules or rod segments and a spring-loaded push-button locking mechanism, the spring-loaded push-button locking mechanism having a spring-loaded push-button seated on a dowel of a male ferrule or mail rod segment, and a cavity aperture traversing a dowel cavity of a female ferrule or female rod segment. Each ferrule couples to a rod segment of the structure, the ferrules connecting the rod segments when mated, but allowing the rod segments to disengage into a collapsed structure. An exemplary embodiment of the apparatus and collapsible structure connection system includes a pair of mated ferrules or rod segments, one pivoting pin and at least one slider arm. The slider arm rotates around the pivoting pins, allowing the ferrules or rod segments to rotate into various positions when selectively connecting and collapsing rod segments.
