Well fracturing manifold apparatus
A fracturing system can include a fracturing manifold coupled to a plurality of fracturing trees. The fracturing manifold may include adjustment joints that enable adjustment of the length of the fracturing manifold. The fracturing manifold can also include pivot joints that allow angular displacement of portions of the fracturing manifold with respect to other portions. The adjustment and pivot joints can accommodate spacing and elevation differences between the fracturing trees.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a choke valve that includes a choke body, a choke trim disposed in the choke body, where the choke trim is configured to adjust a cross-sectional area of a flow path in the choke body to adjust a fluid flow through the choke valve, a needle of the choke trim disposed in the flow path of the fluid flow, where the needle includes a first portion having a superhard material, a seat of the choke trim, where the needle is configured to move along an axis extending through an opening of the seat to adjust the fluid flow through the choke valve.

Extraction cleaner and gas system check
Systems and methods for maintaining operation of gas sampling equipment utilized in oil and gas operations, wherein an isolation valve is deployed along a gas extraction conduit in order to isolate a gas analysis system from pressurized fluid that may be injected into the extraction conduit from a fluid delivery system. A parameter of the flow stream, such as a particular gas content or the presence of a bump gas, may be monitored. A change in the parameter may be indicative that debris is inhibiting fluid flow into the extraction conduit. When such a condition is suspected, gas sampling is suspended and the valve between the gas analysis system and the intake of the extraction conduit is closed. With the valve closed in order to protect the gas analysis system, a fluid is injected into the extraction conduit from the fluid delivery system.
LANDFILL GAS EXTRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM THROTTLE
A system for extracting landfill gas from a landfill is provided. According to some embodiments, a control system for landfill gas extraction is provided. The control system uses a throttle to control flow of landfill gas extracted from the landfill. The throttle is actuated in use to vary the flow of gas between a well and a gas collection system, in accordance with a control algorithm that adjusts flow as a parameter in controlling gas extraction. The throttle is configured to ensure that there is at least some flow of landfill gas from the landfill to a gas output throughout operation. The extraction system provides an efficient system for landfill gas extraction, while mitigating a risk of creating undesired or unpleasant conditions and/or of violating regulations during operation.
Subsurface safety valve with rotating disk
A subsurface safety valve assembly has a valve body with an axially oriented valve bore and a valve cavity that intersects the valve bore. A disk valve member is positioned within the valve cavity and has a disk bore. A piston member is moveable between a contracted position and an extended position, such that in the contracted position the disk valve member is in a valve closed position with the disk bore offset from the valve bore, and in the extended position the disk valve member is in a valve open position with the disk bore axially aligned with the valve bore. An uphole seal member circumscribes the valve bore, forming a seal between the uphole side of the disk valve member and the valve body. A downhole seal member circumscribes the valve bore, forming a seal between the downhole side of the disk valve member and the valve body.
Sliding sleeve having a flow inhibitor for well equalization
A sliding sleeve apparatus that has a flow inhibitor that slows the fluid flow between the interior passageway of the sliding sleeve and the well annulus to allow pressure equalization between the interior passageway of the sliding sleeve and the well annulus to occur prior to placing the sliding sleeve in a fully open position. The inhibited or restricted fluid flow reduces wear on the seals and other components of the sliding sleeve, which extends the operative life of the tool.

Balanced stem and surface safety valve
Embodiments of the present disclosure include a system for controlling a fluid flow. The system includes a valve body including a bore extending along an axis, an inlet, and an outlet, wherein a flow passage extends transverse the axis from the inlet to the outlet, a stem extending through the bore along the axis, and a valve member coupled to the stem. The valve member is movable along the axis, via the stem, between a closed position where the valve member blocks the flow passage to an open position where the valve member does not block the flow passage. The system also includes a balancing system coupled to the valve member, the balancing system comprising a tether and a balance member, wherein an opening force unseating the valve member is translated to the balance member.
SUBSEA WELL INSTALLATION
A subsea well installation is provided, comprising a first pipeline comprising a first valve arrangement and a second pipeline comprising a second valve arrangement. The first valve arrangement is connected to a first subsea well and the second valve arrangement is connected to a second subsea well. The first valve arrangement is connected to the second valve arrangement. The installation is arranged such that fluid can be routed from the first well to any of the first pipeline and second pipeline. Each valve arrangement may comprise three two-way ball valves. Also provided is a method of installing the subsea well installation and a method of operating the subsea well installation.
