Improvements In Or Relating To Wellbore Operations
A method and apparatus to move an object in an open hole section of a wellbore. A bottom hole assembly including a downhole pulling tool and fishing device is described. The downhole pulling tool includes an open hole anchor to allow location of the downhole pulling tool in the open hole section of the wellbore so as to reduce the operating distance between the downhole pulling tool and the fishing device. An embodiment in which a cut section of tubular is removed from the open hole section is described. A casing cutter may also be located in the bottom hole assembly to cut the tubular on the same trip in the well as removing the cut section of tubular.
Solid Compositions Containing Amine, Protonated Amine or Quaternary Ammonium Compounds
Water-dispersible solid compositions that comprise at least one water-soluble polysaccharide, and at least one quaternary ammonium compound, amine, or protonated amine compound as an active ingredient that is absorbed by the polysaccharide are disclosed. The compositions are useful for a wide variety of applications, such as fabric softener compositions, hair care compositions, sanitizing compositions, and well bore treatment compositions.
TUBING OBSTRUCTION REMOVAL DEVICE
A tubing obstruction removal device comprised of a tubular housing, a valve assembly disposed in an inlet region of the housing, and a vibratory drive disposed in the housing. The valve assembly includes a valve plate and a spring. The valve plate is in fluid communication with a fluid inlet port of the tubular housing and includes a plurality of orifices. The valve plate is oscillatable along a longitudinal axis of the tubular housing between a closed position and an open position. The spring is in contact with the valve plate and is compressible with motion of the valve plate from the closed position to the open position. The vibratory drive is comprised of a turbine in fluid communication with the valve assembly and joined to a rotatable bar asymmetric with respect to a longitudinal axis of the housing and rotatable around the longitudinal axis of the housing.

In-line phase separation
A method of separating fluid phases in a well or riser. The method comprises: locating an inlet device of a flexible tubing at a substantially horizontal portion of the well or riser, wherein a portion of the flexible tubing extends into the well or riser and the flexible tubing terminates at the inlet device; biasing the inlet device against a wall of the well or riser; and extracting a stratified fluid phase from the well or riser through the inlet device and flexible tubing, wherein a shape of the inlet device is configured to match a shape of the wall.
System and method of liner and tubing installations with reverse wiper plug
A method of removing dope from a tubing system in a wellbore includes the step of, prior to setting a production packer, reverse circulating fluid within a tubing-casing annulus (TCA) so that is flows from the tubing-casing annulus into a first tubing and propels at least one wiper plug within the first tubing in an uphole direction, thereby wiping the inside of the first tubing and removing excess dope.
POLYMERIC SWELLABLE SCAVENGERS FOR ACIDIC GASES
Methods for treating fluids used in the production and/or transport of petroleum products and natural gas, and methods for the removal of acidic gases encountered in fluids used and encountered in such operations are provided. In one embodiment, the methods include introducing a treatment fluid including a polymeric swellable acid scavenger that includes at least one polymeric composition into a wellbore penetrating at least a portion of a subterranean formation in which an acidic gas, an acid-containing fluid, or both, are present.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVING DEBRIS FROM A DRILLING FLUID
An internal assembly (230) for a tool (200) includes a retainer (232) that at least partially defines an axial bore (238). The retainer (232) further defines a port (246) providing a path of fluid communication from an exterior of the retainer to the bore (238). The internal assembly (230) also includes an electromagnet (250) coupled to the retainer (232). The electromagnet (250) is configured to actuate between an on state and an off state and to attract magnetic debris in a fluid when in the on state. The internal assembly (230) also includes a sleeve (260) that is configured to be positioned downstream from the retainer (232). The sleeve (260) at least partially defines the bore (238). The sleeve (260) further defines a port (262) that provides a path of fluid communication from the bore (238) to an exterior of the sleeve (260). The internal assembly (230) also includes a valve (270) configured to be positioned downstream from the port (262) in the sleeve (260).
LASER JETTER PIPE TOOL
The present invention addresses to a laser blasting pipe for heating a scale removal treatment to be descended by electric cable, and a recirculation system with the objective of heating the scale removal solution, inside the production string during the time the reaction is taking place, in order to guarantee its efficiency. The laser blast pipe is a device similar to a metallic cylinder that can travel through the interior of a production string, being descended by gravity itself, and ascended by the action of the cable, being able to recirculate and heat the fluid. This heating would have the function of compensating the heat loss of the removal solution due to the heat exchange of the riser with the seabed, and maintaining the temperature of the reaction inside the production line in an optimal range of yield, thus aiming at increasing the reaction efficiency and the reduction of the time required for the removal of scale in the production string of the well.
