POLYMER MESH WITH REINFORCING BANDS FOR SKIN CONTROL IN HARD ROCK MINING
A polymer mesh for skin control in hard rock mining conditions is provided. The polymer mesh is manufactured using a knitted or woven design that further includes one or more pairs of solid cut-resistant bands. The bands are positioned in pairs, each band in a pair having a width of at least about 2.5 and being generally parallel with the other band. The bands are spaced from one another at a distance of between about 1.5 and about 4 to create a reinforced aperture between the bands. One or more reinforcement bolts are installed within the aperture with the bands on opposing sides of each bolt buffering the edges of the steel plates associated with the bolts to prevent the plates from tearing the polymer mesh.
POLYMER SHEET, METHOD OF INSTALLING AND PRODUCING SAME
A polymer sheet adapted to attach to a material body such as a ceiling of a geological cavity and provide protective cover. The sheet comprises: a webbing portion defining a plurality of primary openings; and two margin portions extending along opposite edges of the sheet on either side of the webbing portion along a length of the sheet, each margin portion defining a plurality of secondary openings, wherein the margin portions are angled relative to the webbing portion.
Annular fill compressible grout mix for use behind pre-cast concrete segment installed in time-dependent deformation tunnels
The present invention provides for a compressible grout mix for filling an annular gap between a tunnel rock wall surface and a tunnel liner of a tunnel in a rock formation subject to time dependent deformation after excavation and a method of filling the annular gap between a tunnel rock wall surface and a tunnel liner of a tunnel in a rock formation subject to time dependent deformation after excavation utilizing the compressible grout mix for resilient absorption of forces in the hardened state of the compressible grout mix exerted by the time dependent deformation of the rock wall surface into the tunnel opening. The method includes: a. providing the compressible grout mix comprising hydraulic binding agent, bentonite clay, polymer foam particles, water-reducing admixture, water and air, b. placing the compressible grout mix in the annular gap between the tunnel wall rock surface and the tunnel liner, and c. allowing the compressible grout mix to set, wherein the compressible grout mix in the hardened state has a compressible ratio greater than the anticipated time dependent deformation.
Method and system for non-destructive testing of tunnel lining
A method and system are provided for non-destructive testing of a tunnel lining, and relate to the field of tunnel quality testing technologies. The method includes: obtaining tunnel design information; extracting rebar arrangement information and lining information; determining theoretical arrangement interval information; determining location information of a signal conducting bar group; pre-embedding signal conducting bars in sequence based on the location information of the signal conducting bar group; and manufacturing the lining, mounting an interface slot based on a location of the signal conducting bar, and marking a location of each interface slot as input point location information or receiving point location information, wherein the input point location information indicates a location corresponding to the signal input connection point, and the receiving point location information indicates a location corresponding to the signal receiving point.
