Method for removing hydraulic support for solid filling coal mining
A method for removing a hydraulic support for solid filling coal mining includes digging a support removing channel (3) in a coal body (2) in front of the hydraulic support (1), and laying a support removing track (4), then removing the hydraulic support from a coal conveying gateway (11) to a track gateway (5), temporary supporting is carried out by matching a single supporting column with a n-type steel beam before each hydraulic support is removed. A supporting roof is reinforced in time by means of erecting a crib (13) and grouting after each hydraulic support is removed, three grouting pipelines (12) are laid after the supports of the whole work surface are removed, and grouting is carried out in the whole finishing cut space. The roof of the support removing space of the work surface is stable so that the hydraulic supports on the work surface of solid filling coal mining are ensured to be safely and efficiently removed.
Transporting Mined Material
Mined material is transported within and outside a mine (10) in containers (26) that are fixed. discrete load units. namely containers that define a fixed maximum volume that can be carried in each container. The containers can be carried on or coupled to and then removed from vehicles (16) or other transport options. such as flatbed trucks. flatbed rail carriages or overhead suspension units. The containers can be stored at designated container storage facilities (28) in the mine. The container storage facilities are holding areas for loaded containers at mines until decisions are made to transport the containers to mineral processing plants (30) in the mine or to end-use customers. for example via rail to a shipping port (24).
MATERIAL CATEGORISATION AND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
There is provided a material categorisation and transportation system including a plurality of mine vehicles for transporting material within a mine site from a first location in the form of a blast site to a second location. The system includes a sensing device for actively sensing chemical property characteristics of raw blasted mined material such that the raw material can be categorised into a plurality of material categories based on the sensed characteristics. The system further includes a loading device located at blast site for loading the raw material into a predefined one of the mine vehicles based on material category for transportation to the second location. The system is such that each of the mine vehicles only carries raw material of a predetermined one of the material categories.
Work machine control system, work machine, and work machine management system
A work machine control system is configured to control a work machine that travels in an operation region and includes a position detection unit, a non-contact sensor, and a control unit. The position detection unit detects a position of the work machine. The non-contact sensor detects a position of an object around the work machine. The control unit extracts information on an object to be detected from a detection result of the position detection unit and a detection result of the non-contact sensor, and excludes moving object information that is information on an object to be detected regarding a moving object that moves in the operation region.

MINING MACHINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND MANAGEMENT METHOD
A mining machine management system includes a detection unit mounted on a mining machine that travels in a mine in which a plurality of landmarks is installed, and which detects a position of the landmark with respect to the mining machine in a non-contact manner, and a traveling control unit which corrects a current position of the mining machine based on a position of the landmark, the position having been obtained in advance, and the position of the landmark obtained by the detection unit and causes the mining machine to travel by dead reckoning navigation, and which does not use at least the position of the landmark detected by the detection unit in causing the mining machine to travel by the dead reckoning navigation, when a vehicle traveling in the mine exists around the position of the landmark detected by the detection unit.

Apparatus for extracting ore from block caves and method and system therefor
In combination a loader unit and haul unit for use in a block caving mining operation. Each of the loader unit and the haul unit comprise a removable bucket, which can be used for loading ore. In use the bucket carrying a load of ore can be transferred from the loader unit to the haul unit so that the haul unit can transport the ore from a loading site to a crusher. The loader unit and haul unit have a respective longitudinal axis extending from the fore end to the aft thereof, and the bucket is elongate with a longitudinal axis. In use when the bucket is mounted to the loader unit the longitudinal axis of the bucket is disposed orthogonally to the longitudinal axis of the loader unit. When the bucket is transferred to the haul unit, the bucket is placed upright on the haul unit with the longitudinal axis of the bucket parallel to the longitudinal axis of the haul unit.
