Hydraulic machine
A hydraulic machine is described comprising a first part (1, 4) and a second part (7, 8), wherein the first part (1, 4) and the second part (7, 8) are movable relatively to each other in abutting relation, the first part (1, 4) comprises a pressure chamber (2) having a pressure chamber opening (6) in a contact face (5) contacting a sealing face (9) of the second part (7, 8), the second part (7, 8) comprises a low pressure area (10) connected to a low pressure opening (11) in the sealing face (9) and a high pressure area (12) connected to a high pressure opening (13) in the sealing face (9), wherein during a movement of the first part (1, 4) with respect to the second part (7, 8) in a moving direction (14) the pressure chamber opening (6) comes alternatingly in overlap with the low pressure opening (11) and the high pressure opening (13). Such a machine should be flexible in operation with low risk of damages caused by cavitation. To this end a throttling channel (15) in the second part (7, 8) connects the low pressure area (10) with an area in the sealing face (9) in moving direction in front of the low pressure opening (11).
HYDRAULIC AXIAL PISTON MACHINE
A hydraulic axial piston machine (1) is described, the machine comprising a housing, a cylinder block (2) rotatably mounted in the housing about an axis or rotation (7) and having at least one cylinder (3), and a valve arrangement (4) between the cylinder block (2) and the housing, the valve arrangement having a first part (4) rotating with the cylinder block (2) and a second part mounted stationary with respect to the housing. Such a machine should have a high efficiency. To this end the first part (4) comprises an elastically deformable spring section (9).
Modular Gland Arrangements For A Fluid End Assembly
A closure element for a fluid end assembly that has two or more recessed grooves formed in its outer surface. The grooves are axially offset. A seal is placed in one and only one of the grooves. As wear occurs, the seal is relocated to one of the other grooves. Instead of a series of axially offset grooves in a single closure element, a kit may be formed from two or more otherwise identical closure elements, each with a single recessed groove at a different axial position. Another closure element has a series of ledge-like surfaces defining spaces within which a seal may be received. One outer surface surrounds one or more of the other surfaces. A seal is placed in one and only one of the spaces. As wear occurs, the seal is relocated to one of the other spaces.
Zero Stroke Thrust Vectoring Ignition Chamber Engine
This patent discloses thrust vectoring ignition chamber engine. Thrust vectoring ignition chamber used in this engine is an annular cylinder having nozzles mounted in a way such that during fuel suction phase they are sealed and during ignition of fuel they are unsealed so that hot jets of ignited fuel escaping through nozzles cause coupled rotatory motion on the ignition chamber. Engine uses cam operated suitably modified 3-screw compressor for suction and compression of fuel and therefore do not require piston mechanism. Flywheel mounted on extension of ignition chamber functions as output of the engine. Each half rotation of flywheel completes three phases namely fuel/air suction, compression and combustion. Thus this engine fires for every half revolution and therefore can give improved power boost.
VARIABLE STROKE PUMP
A variable stroke high pressure pump is disclosed. The pump uses a wobble plate design with dynamically variable tilt to provide continuous adjustment of pump stroke length and output. Dynamically variable tilt is accomplished using a linearly actuated tilt thruster rotationally coupled to the drive shaft to maintain a selected tilt of the wobble plate through the rotation of the wobble plate.
Hydraulic motor
A hydraulic motor apparatus includes a motor housing engaged to an end cap having a first porting system and an adapter connected to an external surface of the end cap and having a second porting system. A filter may be attached to the adapter and connected to the second porting system and a pressure reducing valve in the adapter is connected to the second porting system. The assembly may also include a controller operatively connected to the pressure reducing valve and system sensors measuring parameters affected by the output of the hydraulic motor apparatus, whereby the pressure reducing valve is operatively controlled by the controller in response to input from the system sensors.
TILT LINKAGE FOR VARIABLE STROKE PUMP
A variable stroke high pressure pump is disclosed. The pump uses a wobble plate design with dynamically variable tilt to provide continuous adjustment of pump stroke length and output. Dynamically variable tilt is accomplished using a linearly actuated tilt thruster rotationally coupled to the drive shaft to maintain a selected tilt of the wobble plate through the rotation of the wobble plate.
Hydrostatic piston engine
A hydrostatic piston engine comprises a housing with a cylinder drum with cylinder bores mounted rotatably therein. Each of the cylinder bores receives a working piston in a longitudinally displaceable manner, via which a hydrostatic working chamber is delimited by the cylinder bore. The hydrostatic working chamber has an opening on an outer surface of the cylinder drum by which, when the cylinder drum rotates, outlets of a high-pressure chamber and of a low-pressure chamber of the piston engine and a reversing surface arranged between the two outlets in the rotational direction can be passed over in alternating fashion. At least one pressurizing medium channel is provided which, on one hand, opens out in the reversing surface and, on the other, into a pressurizing medium trough of the piston engine.
Hydraulic system
A hydraulic system includes a piston, a swash plate opposed to the piston, and a swash plate supporting member supporting the swash plate so that a tilt of the swash plate is variable. An oil reservoir portion is provided between the swash plate and the swash plate supporting member, the oil reservoir portion communicating with a pressure oil introducing passage. An area of the oil reservoir portion between the swash plate and the swash plate supporting member varies with the tilt of the swash plate.
Variable pre and de-compression control mechanism and method for hydraulic displacement pump
A rotary displacement piston pump is disclosed having rotatable single or dual valve/port plate(s). The valve plate, being rotatable forward and/or rearward with respect to the rotation of the piston carrier, alters the phasing of the land area of the pumping action thereby altering the phasing of piston speed inasmuch as the land area can be moved to a position to accelerate the piston(s) in a pre or decompression phase. In this way, pump noise, from colliding pressure fronts within the respective high and low pressure plenums, can be “tuned” out of the pump by adjusting the phasing and position of the valve plate(s) and raising or lowering the pre and decompression pressure(s) as necessary. Pump volume can also be controlled by advancing or retarding the valve plate(s), either in or out of synch, so as to shorten intake/exhaust piston stroke and overlap fluid flow between respective intake/exhaust plenums.
