The mounting base (32) comprises a second cylindrical rim portion (34) extending upwardly and surrounding the central opening (33), wherein an inner diameter of the second cylindrical rim portion (34) substantially corresponds to the inner diameter of the midshell (4) and to an outer diameter of the first cylindrical rim portion (30).
Compressor system for generating compressed air, as well as method for operating a compressor system that generates compressed air
The invention relates to a compressor system for generating compressed air. It comprises a drive, a driven compressor, a lubricant cooler, a compressed air cooler and a blower unit. The blower unit has at least two blowers that can be controlled independent of one another, which convey cooling air to first and second cooling chambers that are separated from one another, wherein the first cooling chamber conveys the cooling air to the lubricant cooler, and the second cooling chamber conveys the cooling air to the compressed air cooler. The lubricant cooler and the compressed air cooler have an arrangement that is offset to one another in such a way that the axes of their inflow and outflow flanges, arranged on their lateral walls, are located in different planes. The invention also relates to a method for operating a compressor system that generates compressed air, wherein at least two control signals that are independent of one another are provided for two blowers.
COMPRESSOR HAVING LUBRICATION STRUCTURE FOR THRUST SURFACE
A compressor is provided which is configured to allow lubrication of a thrust surface through an oil groove formed in a thrust surface of a fixed scroll. Also, a scroll compressor is provided which smoothly supplies oil to a thrust surface of a fixed scroll by including a fixed scroll having an oil groove formed in the thrust surface of a fixed scroll sidewall, and allows an injection pressure acting on an orbiting scroll in an upward direction to be added by supplying the oil guided to the oil groove to the thrust surface of the fixed scroll such that an overturn moment generated in the orbiting scroll may be offset.
Compressor system with internal air-water cooling
A compressor system (01) with a system housing (02), in which are arranged heat generating system components (06) comprising at least one compressor stage (201) for compressing a gaseous medium, an air water cooler (12), a blower (15) which generates a cooling air flow (16), and air conducting elements. A cooling air channel (07) is configured which has an inlet opening (08) in the upper section of the system housing (02) and an outlet opening (09) in the lower section of the system housing (02), wherein upper air conducting elements (13) are positioned in order to conduct the cooling air flow (16) after flowing through the air water cooler (12) to the inlet opening (08), and lower air conducting elements (17) are positioned in order to conduct the cooling air flow (16) from the outlet opening (09) to the system components (06).
Scroll compressor having communication groove in orbiting end plate
A scroll compressor, and more particularly, to a scroll compressor including a communication groove which may decrease discharge resistance is provided. The scroll compressor may include a fixed scroll having a fixed end plate and a fixed wrap, and an orbiting scroll configured to perform an orbiting movement about the fixed scroll and having an orbiting end plate and an orbiting wrap. A communication groove in the form of a recessed groove may be formed in an inner surface of the orbiting end plate, and a refrigerant may flow through the communication groove according to a state in which the fixed wrap overlaps the communication groove such that there is an effect in that an opening efficiency of a discharge hole is improved at an initial stage of discharge.
Toroidal engine
A toroidal combustion engine is provided. The toroidal combustion engine includes a first and a second toroidal cylinder which share a single common intersection to define a combustion chamber. The first toroidal cylinder carries a first piston set, while the second toroidal cylinder carries a second piston set. The first and second piston sets are each rotatable about circular paths which are disposed in planes that are perpendicular to one another.
