NON-COLLAPSIBLE FLEXIBLE SEALING MEMBRANE AND SEAL ASSEMBLY FOR ROTARY SHAFT EQUIPMENT
A non-collapsible flexible sealing membrane (or bellows) for incorporation in a mechanical seal assembly and use in rotary shaft equipment. The sealing membrane includes a substantially radially outward extending first flange portion, which can be urged into an axially shiftable ring by a biasing mechanism. The sealing membrane further includes a substantially axially outboard extending second coaxial portion, substantially radially inward of the balance diameter of the seal. The horizontal portion is advantageously held fixed to a stub sleeve by an annular band. The angle between the vertical portion and the horizontal portion of sealing membrane enables directional control of the forces acting on stub sleeve and primary ring.
METHOD FOR CONFIGURING A DIGITAL FILTER FOR ATTENUATING A FREQUENCY ASSOCIATED WITH A TORSION MODE OF A POWER TRANSMISSION LINE OF A TURBINE ENGINE
A method for parameterizing a digital filter for attenuation of a torsional mode of a power transmission line of an aircraft turbine engine is disclosed. The mode is associated with a frequency in a confidence interval, the digital filter is low-pass and described by a transfer function equal to the quotient N(z)/D(z), integrated into a pre-existing monitoring loop of the turbine engine, to filter signals sampled at a frequency. The method includes: calculating zeros of N(z), so that the filter attenuates the frequency; updating the zeros of N(z), so that the gain of the filter satisfies, in the interval, a first gain template; and determining the poles of D(z), so that, in the bandwidth of the loop: the phase of the filter satisfies a phase template, and the gain of the filter satisfies a second gain template.
Combined power generation plant and combined power generation plant control method
In the present invention, a coal gasification combined power generation facility comprises: a feed water supply line (72); a condensate pump (39) and an intermediate-pressure feed water pump (40); a turbine bypass line (32) that bypasses a steam turbine and supplies steam to the condenser (73); and a spray water line (76) that supplies the feed water to the turbine bypass line (32). The coal gasification combined power generation facility has a normal operation mode and a bypass operation mode, and in the bypass operation mode, a control device (80) supplies the feed water to the turbine bypass line (32) and performs a first opening degree control to control the opening degree of the supply adjustment valve so that the amount of feed water supplied to the exhaust heat recovery boiler becomes less than that in the normal operation mode.

COMBINED POWER GENERATION PLANT AND COMBINED POWER GENERATION PLANT CONTROL METHOD
A coal gasification combined power generation facility includes a feed water supply line that supplies feed water condensed by a condenser to an exhaust heat recovery boiler; a supply adjustment valve that adjusts the flow amount of feed water supplied to the exhaust heat recovery boiler; a turbine bypass line that bypasses a steam turbine and supplies steam to the condenser; and a spray water line that supplies the feed water to the turbine bypass line. The coal gasification combined power generation facility has a bypass operation mode, wherein a control device supplies the feed water to the turbine bypass line and performs a first opening degree control to control the opening degree of the supply adjustment valve so that the amount of feed water supplied to the exhaust heat recovery boiler becomes less than that in a normal operation mode.

Method and Systems for Treating Synthesis Gas
The present invention relates to a method for treating synthesis gas, from an indirect or direct gasifier; the method including steps for: allowing the gas within a predetermined entry temperature range to flow into a first heat exchanger, allowing the gas to flow through the first heat exchanger while exchanging heat to a first medium, allowing the gas to transfer from the first heat exchanger to a subsequent last heat exchanger, allowing the gas to flow though the last heat exchanger while exchanging heat to a last medium, and allowing the gas to exit the last heat exchanger for being available to a further treatment, such as a cleaning treatment, within a predetermined exit temperature range, preferably below an ash or mineral solidification point. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a cooling system for cooling of synthesis gas and to a gasification system.
