CAMSHAFT AND VALVE ACTUATION MECHANISM OF ENGINE
This invention is a camshaft and a valve actuation mechanism of an engine. The camshaft includes a first cam and a second cam that are adjacently arranged for an intake or exhaust rocker arm. A flange is arranged between the two cams, and is positioned at a position with a lift of the first cam and the second cam. No flange is arranged in a B section where both of the cams are base circles. When the rocker arm roller is shifted to another cam, since blocking of the flange between the two cams, shifting may be performed when the camshaft is rotated to a position where both of the cams are base circles, which ensures reliability. In addition, one solenoid may control a plurality of actuators, and thus the cost is low. The two cams may implement the functions of the engine, such as, variable valve or engine brake or others.
Switchable actuation device for a poppet valve in an internal combustion engine, internal combustion engine and motor vehicle
The present invention relates to a switchable actuation device (100) for a gas exchange valve. The switchable actuation device (100) comprises a two-piece rocker arm (10). Said rocker arm comprises a first rocker arm portion (1a), which is mounted pivotably about a rocker arm shaft (2) and to which a bearing sleeve (1a1) is fastened concentrically with the rocker arm shaft (2), and a second rocker arm portion (1b) mounted pivotably on the bearing sleeve (1a1). Furthermore, both the first and the second rocker arm portions (1a, 1b) each comprise a cut-out (3a, 3b), wherein a locking element (4a) of a coupling device (4) of the switchable actuation device (100) can optionally be brought into and out of engagement with the two cut-outs (3a, 3b). An actuation of the poppet valve, preferably a change between a closed position and an open position of the poppet valve, is interrupted if the locking element (4a) is not in engagement with the two cut-outs (3a, 3b). The invention also relates to an internal combustion engine (20) and a motor vehicle (30).
SLIDE CAM SYSTEM AND MOTOR
A slide cam system includes a camshaft comprising a carrier shaft with slide cam elements that each comprise a slotted switching member having a switching groove. The slide cam elements are displaceable axially relative to the carrier shaft by an actuator pin. A displacement element is arranged parallel with a longitudinal axis of the carrier shaft, and the displacement element is axially displaceable in a direction of the longitudinal axis. The displacement element has a first coupling pin arranged in a region of the first slide cam element and a second coupling pin arranged in a region of the second slide cam element. The coupling pins cooperate with a slotted switching member of the associated slide cam element such that as a result of the displacement element a movement initiated by the actuator pin of the first slide cam element can be transmitted to the second slide cam element.
Actuation arrangement for actuating a latch in a switchable rocker arm and a valve train comprising the same
A valve train assembly includes: at least one dual body rocker arm having a first body, a second body, and a latching arrangement for latching and unlatching the first body and the second body, the latching arrangement being biased to an unlatched configuration; and an actuator arrangement external to the rocker arm for controlling the latching arrangement, the actuator arrangement being arranged so that a default setting thereof is to cause the latching arrangement to be in a latched configuration.

MECHANICALLY TIMED CYLINDER DEACTIVATION SYSTEM
A system and method for mechanically timed cylinder deactivation includes an inner passage in the camshaft that supplies fluid for deactivating one or more valve opening mechanisms associated with the cylinders of an internal combustion engine.
Variable valve lift device and automobile
Some embodiments of a present disclosure provide a variable valve lift device. The variable valve lift device includes a main shaft, a sleeve, an oil cylinder and a valve mechanism. The sleeve is provided on the main shaft in a sleeve manner, can be driven by the main shaft to rotate together with the main shaft, and can further linearly move relative to the main shaft along an axis direction of the main shaft. A cam assembly is disposed on the sleeve, and includes at least two cams with different projection heights. The oil cylinder includes a cylinder barrel and a piston disposed in the cylinder barrel, the cylinder barrel is fixed onto the main shaft, the piston is fixedly connected to the sleeve. Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide an automobile having the above variable valve lift device.
Valve rocker arm assembly, variable air distribution mechanism and engine
A valve rocker arm assembly, a variable air distribution mechanism, and an engine are provided according to the present disclosure. The valve rocker arm assembly includes: an oil inlet hose; a rocker arm shaft, an oil drain channel, an oil return groove, and a first oil path being provided in the rocker arm shaft, the oil drain channel being communicated with the oil return groove by means of the first oil path; a first rocker arm and a second rocker arm rotatably connected onto the rocker arm shaft, a piston cavity, an oil inlet path, an oil drain path and a piston being provided on the second rocker arm; a one-way opening device provided in the oil inlet path and/or the oil inlet hose; and a control valve connected to the oil drain channel.
VALVE TIMING ADJUSTMENT DEVICE
Hall sensors respectively output a measurement signal, a voltage level of which changes according to a rotation position of an electric motor. A rotation signal generator of a drive circuit generates a rotation speed signal and a rotation direction signal of the electric motor based on the measurement signals. A control circuit generates control signals of the electric motor according to edges of output signals of the rotation signal generator. A signal corrector corrects an excess or a shortage of the edge of the signal at the time of starting the electric motor based on: the voltage levels of the rotation speed signal and the rotation direction signal at the time of turning off and the time of turning on of an electric power source; and a rotation direction of the electric motor at the time of starting thereof.
Actuation arrangement for a valve train assembly
An actuation arrangement for actuating a plurality of latching arrangements of a respective plurality of dual body rocker arms of a valve train assembly of an internal combustion engine includes: a first shaft comprising one or more first selector cam for controlling the latching arrangements of a first group of one or more of the dual body rocker arms; and a second shaft comprising one or more second selector cams for controlling the latching arrangements of a second group of one or more of the dual body rocker arms. At least a portion of the first shaft is received in the second shaft, and the first shaft and the second shaft are controllable to rotate independently of one another, thereby to allow control of the latching arrangements of the dual body rocker arms on a per group basis.
