A hair straightener (HS) comprises a heating unit (HU) for heating hair while exercising a pressure on the hair, a temperature sensor (TS) for measuring a temperature of the heated hair to obtain a measured temperature, and a pressure adjustment unit (PAU) for adjusting the pressure exercised by the heating unit (HU) on the hair, in dependence on the measured temperature. The heating unit (HU) may comprise a pair of heating plates (HP1, HP2) between which hair is clamped, and the pressure adjustment unit (PAU) may be arranged for changing a distance between the heating plates (HP1, HP2). The pressure adjustment unit (PAU) may comprise a motor-operated push tool (W, C) for increasing the distance between the heating plates (HP1, HP2) when the measured temperature exceeds a first threshold temperature. The hair straightener (HS) may comprise a pair of hinged arms (A1, A2) each provided with a respective one of the heating plates (HP1, HP2). The pressure adjustment unit (PAU) may comprise a motor-operated pull tool (W, S), for decreasing a distance between the hinged arms (A1, A2) when the measured temperature falls below a second threshold temperature, whereby the distance between the heating plates (HP1, HP2) is reduced.

Cosmetic product refill for a hair treatment device

The invention relates to a cosmetic product refill (20) for a hair treatment device (1), comprising an applicator member that is saturated with liquid cosmetic product, with a degree of filling less than or equal to 90%, preferably less than or equal to 80%>, more preferably less than or equal to 70%, the degree of filling being defined as the ratio of the mass of cosmetic product in the applicator member divided by the maximum mass of cosmetic product with which the applicator member can be saturated.

HAIRCARE APPLIANCE

A haircare appliance is described having first and second arms that define a hair treatment chamber, an emitter configured to emit radiation into the hair treatment chamber, and an airflow generator configured to generate an airflow within the hair treatment chamber. The emitter includes an incandescent source of radiation.

HAIRCARE APPLIANCE

A haircare appliance is described having first and second arms that define a hair treatment chamber, an infrared emitter configured to emit infrared radiation into the hair treatment chamber, and an airflow generator configured to generate an airflow within the hair treatment chamber. The infrared emitter is configured to emit infrared radiation including a peak wavelength greater than 900 nm.

HANDHELD APPLIANCE

A handheld appliance has a handle, the handle having a main body, the main body having a first end portion, a second end portion and a third portion there between, wherein the first end portion and the second end portion extend radially outwards beyond the third portion; and an external sleeve is rotatably supported around the third portion by the first end portion and the second end portion.

CURLING IRON CAPABLE OF CURLING HAIR IN TWO DIRECTIONS
20230404231 · 2023-12-21 ·

A curling iron capable of curling hair in two directions relates to the field of curling irons. The curling iron includes a rotary outer shell, a ventilation handle, and a fixing knob. The ventilation handle is sleeved in the rotary outer shell, and the fixing knob is disposed at a top of the rotary outer shell and connected with the ventilation handle. The rotary outer shell includes a ventilation rod body, and an air duct cover sheet. The air duct cover sheet is clamped on a surface of the ventilation rod body. The ventilation handle includes a partition plate and a ventilation bottom cover. The partition plate is disposed on the ventilation bottom cover. Ventilation is carried out by the ventilation rod body in cooperation with the cover sheet, and the rod body is of a rotary structure, so that air may be adjustably blown out in two directions by a cooperation of the rotary rod body and the ventilation handle, without replacing heads of the curling iron with different air outlet directions. This achieves a purpose of curling and dressing hair with air blown in two directions.
