HAIR STYLING DEVICE
There is provided a hair styling device having a body defining a chamber adapted to accommodate a length of hair, the chamber having a primary opening through which the length of hair may pass. The device also has a rotatable element adapted to engage the length of hair adjacent to the primary opening, and an elongate member around which, in use, the length of hair is wound by the rotatable element. The device has at least one sensor adapted to detect misplaced hair. The sensor can be connected to a control system for the rotatable element whereby rotation of the rotatable element can be prevented when misplaced hair is detected by the sensor.

The invention relates to a hair styling aid (1), in particular for curling hair, and to a method of styling (curling) hair. The hair styling aid (1) comprises a guide (16) for receiving a length of hair to be styled, and a rotatable element (20). In use, the rotatable element (20) rotates relative to the guide (16), pushing a portion of the hair to one side and winding it around a protrusion (36). The hair styling aid has a housing (6) comprising a front chamber (8) and a rear chamber (10), and the rotatable element (20) is located between the front chamber and the rear chamber.

The invention relates to a hair styling aid (1), in particular for curling hair, and to a method of styling (curling) hair. The hair styling aid (1) comprises a guide (16) for receiving a length of hair to be styled, and a rotatable element (20). In use, the rotatable element (20) rotates relative to the guide (16), pushing a portion of the hair to one side and winding it around a protrusion (36). The hair styling aid has a housing (6) comprising a front chamber (8) and a rear chamber (10), and the rotatable element (20) is located between the front chamber and the rear chamber.
Hair styling device

A rotatable element is provided which is adapted to engage the length of hair adjacent to the primary opening and to apply a force to the length of hair to wind the length of hair around the elongate member. The rotation of the rotatable element is controlled by a control system which includes means to detect the force applied to the length of hair. In the event of hair entanglement the force applied to the length of hair increases and if the force detected by the control system exceeds a predetermined threshold the rotation of the rotatable element is stopped and can be reversed so as to relieve the tension and allow the length of hair to be removed from the device.

The chamber has a primary opening through which the length of hair may pass into the chamber. An elongate member is located within the chamber. A rotatable element is provided which is adapted to engage the length of hair adjacent to the primary opening and to apply a force to the length of hair to wind the length of hair around the elongate member. The rotation of the rotatable element is controlled by a control system which includes means to detect the force applied to the length of hair. In the event of hair entanglement the force applied to the length of hair increases and if the force detected by the control system exceeds a predetermined threshold the rotation of the rotatable element is stopped and can be reversed so as to relieve the tension and allow the length of hair to be removed from the device.
Hair Shaping Device
The invention relates to a hair-shaping device (1) comprising a winding core (4) for winding a strand of hair (20), a rotatably drivable entraining element (7), the axis of rotation (13) of which corresponds at least largely to the longitudinal axis of the winding core (4), which entraining element (7) is designed to grasp a strand of hair (20) to be wound on the winding core (4) and to wind said strand of hair around the winding core (4), and a housing (3) that at least largely encloses the winding core (4), wherein the radial distance of the inside of the housing from the lateral surface of the winding core (4) in the region of a winding space (18) is selected to be sufficiently large such that the winding of a strand of hair (20) onto the winding core (4) is not hindered, which housing (3) comprises a slot (9) extending in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the winding core (4) for inserting a strand of hair (20) to be shaped. In the case of said hair-shaping device (1), the entraining element (7) according to the invention is arranged inside the winding space (18) and the slot (9) is designed for inserting a segment of strand of hair (20) to be shaped into the winding space (18) and extends into the housing part facing the hair pull-in side and bounding the winding space in this direction, to such an extent that a strand of hair (20) inserted into the insertion slot (9) is caught by the entraining element (7) rotating inside the winding space (18), and that the housing (3) has a warm air flow inlet (17) for the purpose of supplying heat to a strand of hair (20) located in the winding space (18) between the winding core (4) and the housing (3), to which warm air flow inlet a warm air flow can be applied during operation of the hair-shaping device (1) in order to form a curl.
Hair Shaping Device

Hairstyling Apparatus for Forming Curls of Different Sizes
Provided is a hairstyling apparatus (1) for curling and smoothing hair, which includes: first and second elongate jaws (2, 3) which are pivotably movable relative to one another, the first jaw (2) having a first casing (6) supporting a first inner planar treatment surface (4), and the second jaw (3) having a second casing (7) supporting a second inner planar treatment surface (5), the inner surfaces (4, 5) being intended for pinching a lock of hair; and at least one heating element (41, 510) intended for heating at least one inner treatment surface (4, 5). The largest width (l1) of the first casing (6) is no greater than 90% of the largest width (l2) of the second casing (7). The first casing (6) and/or the second casing (7) is asymmetrical relative to the median plane in a longitudinal crosssection of said first casing (6) or said second casing (7), respectively.
Hairstyling Apparatus for Forming Curls of Different Sizes
Provided is a hairstyling apparatus (1) for curling and smoothing hair, which includes: first and second elongate jaws (2, 3) which are pivotably movable relative to one another, the first jaw (2) having a first casing (6) supporting a first inner planar treatment surface (4), and the second jaw (3) having a second casing (7) supporting a second inner planar treatment surface (5), the inner surfaces (4, 5) being intended for pinching a lock of hair; and at least one heating element (41, 510) intended for heating at least one inner treatment surface (4, 5). The largest width (l1) of the first casing (6) is no greater than 90% of the largest width (l2) of the second casing (7). The first casing (6) and/or the second casing (7) is asymmetrical relative to the median plane in a longitudinal crosssection of said first casing (6) or said second casing (7), respectively.
Gelatinize hairdressing foil and its preparation method thereof
A gelatinize hairdressing foil and its preparation method are disclosed. One surface of said gelatinize hairdressing foil is a dark side, which contacts with hair, and an other surface of said gelatinize hairdressing foil is a bright side. Said dark side is provided with a zonal gelatinize layer. An anti-adhesive layer can be provided on said bright side. The hairdressing foil can contain an aluminum foil, can be provided with a release layer on said dark side, and can be provided with aluminum foils on both surfaces and a plastic film between said two aluminum foils. When quiff is put on said dark side, it is adhered by the release layer on the dark side. Therefore, the quiff is apt to form a layer instead of a tangle, and when liquid medicine for perming and dyeing is coated on hair, each hair could be coated with said liquid medicine.
