Methods for treating relaxed hair
Methods and kits for treating hair or preventing damage in the relaxing of hair are disclosed herein. Hair that is damaged during a relaxing treatment with hydroxide-containing relaxing agents, can be treated with formulations containing one or more active agents. The active agent formulations can be applied simultaneously with the hair relaxing formulation, or optionally applied immediately following application of the relaxing formulation, to reduce damage and breakage. Use of the active agent formulation along with a relaxing treatment can be used to control the level of curl achieved or retained in the relaxed hair, as compared to the natural amount of curl in the untreated hair.

Systems, devices and methods for styling hair
An apparatus for styling hair includes a first electrode and a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode. An electrolyte reservoir can be disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and is configured to maintain a volume of an electrolyte between the first electrode and the second electrode. A control module is electrically coupled to the first electrode and the second electrode. The control module is operable to bias the first electrode at a first potential and the second electrode at a second potential to create an electrical potential difference between the first electrode and the second electrode. The electrical potential difference is configured to produce an electrolysis zone in the electrolyte disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The electrolysis zone is configured to style hair disposed in the electrolysis zone between the first electrode and the second electrode.

Headwear and method of creating custom headwear
Provided are a garment to be worn on a human head and a method of creating a garment to be worn on a human head. The method includes creating a desired hair pattern on a head of a model, and optically capturing an image of the desired hair pattern. The captured image is then printed or otherwise applied onto a region of material sized to be worn on the human head of a person who is to wear the garment.
A DEVICE FOR CUTTING HAIR
The present application relates to a device (10) for cutting hair. The device (10) has a skin contacting face (13) that is arranged to be placed against a surface of the skin (16) of a user during use, and an optical system (20) configured to direct a cutting laser beam (18) across a cutting zone (15) parallel to and spaced from said skin contacting face (13) to cut hairs (17) extending into the cutting zone (15). The device also has a detector (40) configured to generate information indicative of the presence of one or more objects representative of hair (17) and/or skin (16) in the cutting zone (15), and a controller (27). The controller (27) is able to determine the presence of one or more objects representative of hair (17) and/or skin (16) in the cutting zone (15) and to adjust one or more characteristics of the optical system (20) in dependence on the information generated by the detector (40). The present invention also relates to a method of cutting hair and a computer program comprising instructions which, when executed by at least one processor, cause the method to be performed.

HAIR CURLING SYSTEM
A hair curling system embodying a novel device and method for overnight use is provided. The hair curling system includes a sectioning tool and a separate curling strip. The sectioning tool may include an elastic cord forming a loop shape, wherein a stopper member is disposed there along. The curling strip may include an elongated strip of material that terminates in a collar. The collar may define a collar opening adapted to receive the stopper member. The user may use the sectioning tool to secure a predetermined section of hair whereby the stopper member may subsequently receive the collar and thus hang the attached elongated strip near the scalp of the user. The user may then twirl the predetermined section of hair using the entire curling strip. The sectioning tool is then removed, facilitating a comfortable sleep with at least one curling strip in place.
