SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR UNRAVELING BRAIDS
Systems and methods for unraveling braids of real/natural hair and/or synthetic braid extensions, or a combination thereof, work from the bottom of the braid up using one or more tines automated to repetitively penetrate the braid and pull through and down it to unravel it. The systems and methods may unravel braid/entanglements faster than could otherwise be done manually by hand.
Hair holder, method for producing said hair holder, and method for using said hair holder
A hair holder (1) of the present invention includes a tubular body (2) and a fixing member (5). The tubular body (2) has a first surface sheet (23A) and a second surface sheet (23B). The second surface sheet (23B) has a plurality of slits (25) that extends in a width direction and that is intermittently arranged along a longitudinal direction. The fixing member (5) has a first member (5a) and second members (5b) that can be detachably joined together. The first member (5a) is arranged on the first surface sheet (23A) on the side of a first opening (21) located at a first end in the longitudinal direction. The second surface sheet (23B) has a central region (M) in the width direction, where the plurality of slits is provided, and a pair of side regions (S) each of which is located on opposite sides of the central region (M). The second members (5b) are arranged in the pair of side regions (S), respectively, so as to extend in the longitudinal direction.

Mechanized Hair Styling Device and Method
Disclosed is a hair styling apparatus and its employment in specific hairstyling methods. The apparatus is a mechanized, motorized device configured to operate in conjunction with a hairstyling attachment, said device comprising an ordered arrangement of components which, when motorized in a connected manner, cause the meshed rotation of two internal pivot gears, the pivot gears having irregularly-spaced undersurface dock holes connectable to a planar grip housing. The pivot gears induce selectable rotation modes of the planar grip housing; further, the grip housing is capable of securely gripping the attachment. A preferred attachment comprises an elastomeric block having an elliptically-contoured, substantially smooth top surface, and a patterned, sculptured bottom surface constructed with parallel V-shaped channels and a plurality of circular chambers. In this manner, when hair is placed in contact with the motorized device and its attachment, the hair may be styled into a multiplicity of twists or spirals.
Process and Product for Making Transitorily Colored Sombre Hair
A product and process for making a transitorily colored sombre hair extension that creates a natural looking sombre effect. The hair extension comprises a hair bundle consisting of a plurality of hair strands having varied lengths. The hair is colored a first color, the bundle realigned, so that the ends of the hair strands are varied in length at the top portion. Then the top half of the hair bundle is color processed to a second color. Again, the strands are realigned and the varied length hair ends are returned to the tail portion. This results in a sombre colored hair extension with a mid-section of the hair bundle that contains transitorily colored hair with a blend of the first color in the top portion of the hair bundle with the second color in the tail portion of the hair bundle.

HAIR CLAMP
The present invention is directed to improving the existing process of hair curling or shaping by not using traditional heat to shape the hair and thus allowing a user to avoid heat damage to their hair. The invention comprises a hair clamp and methods of use whereby the user can avoid using heat to obtain a curl, form waves, or define hairstyles. The hair clamp may be concave-shaped or wave-shaped, and may comprise inner layers that are water-resistant or porous. The hair clamp may also comprise holes spaced throughout its outer layer and inner layers.

Methods for treating relaxed hair
Methods and kits for treating hair or preventing damage in the relaxing of hair are disclosed herein. Hair that is damaged during a relaxing treatment with hydroxide-containing relaxing agents, can be treated with formulations containing one or more active agents. The active agent formulations can be applied simultaneously with the hair relaxing formulation, or optionally applied immediately following application of the relaxing formulation, to reduce damage and breakage. Use of the active agent formulation along with a relaxing treatment can be used to control the level of curl achieved or retained in the relaxed hair, as compared to the natural amount of curl in the untreated hair.
