The turbocharger includes a bypass conduit fluidly communicating with the turbocharger housing and including an exhaust inlet fluidly connected to the exhaust pipe; a valve in the bypass conduit for controlling the flow of exhaust gas, and an exhaust collector. The valve is movable between first and second positions, a first flow path passing through the exhaust inlet, through the bypass conduit, and into the exhaust collector, a second flow path passing through the exhaust inlet, through the bypass conduit, through the exhaust turbine, and into the exhaust collector, in the first position, a majority of the exhaust gas flowing along the first flow path and in the second position, a majority of the exhaust gas flowing along the second flow path.

Muffler with internal gap heat shield

A vehicle having a frame and an internal combustion engine. An exhaust system extends from the internal combustion engine. The exhaust system includes an exhaust muffler with an exhaust hanger. The exhaust hanger is secured to the frame with an elastic member. An internal heat shield is located on an inner surface of the exhaust muffler to form an interior space between the internal heat shield and the exhaust muffler. The internal heat shield reduces the heat transferred to the elastic member.

Double inlets exhaust system for unmanned aerial vehicle

The dual inlet exhaust design for the flying device incorporates easy-to-assemble designs with low number of components, suitable for limited space and small volume requirements, good performance. The exhaust is designed as a three-chamber cylinder with two coaxial inlet pipes running through the two chambers on both sides, extending into the middle compartment. The width of the two inlet tubes in the middle compartment is different. The inlet pipe at the two compartments on both sides has a bore. The outlet tube is located in the middle compartment, deviating to the side with a smaller expansion inlet, with the longitudinal axis of the outlet tube passing through the inlet tube.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING THE PRESSURE OF THE EXHAUST GAS OF A MACHINE
20200348210 · 2020-11-05 ·

The invention relates to a method for controlling the pressure of the exhaust gas of a machine, in particular an internal combustion engine. The exhaust gas is discharged from the machine via an exhaust gas line, and the exhaust gas line has a regulating device, preferably comprising a throttle valve or a throttle flap, said regulating device delimiting a pressure-regulated section of the exhaust gas line. Gas, preferably air, which is regulated into the pressure-regulated section via a compressed gas line is supplied such that the pressure in the pressure-regulated section is substantially kept at a constant value. The invention additionally relates to a corresponding device.

Floating ducts

A duct interface system and method includes a duct having a first end and a second end; a first receptacle for the first end of the duct and/or a second receptacle for the second end of the duct; and one or more first seals between the first end of the duct and the first receptacle and/or one or more second seals between the second end of the duct and the second receptacle.
