Heated shaving brush assembly
09826823 · 2017-11-28 ·

A heated shaving brush having a housing with an interior space that houses a shaft that acts as a tube to allow shaving cream or similar lubricating agent to pass through to a bristle assembly that a user applies to their body. The shaft is adjacent to a heating element that is powered by alternating or direct current, thereby heating the shaving cream as it passes through the hollowed shaft. A graduated knob can modulate the speed at which the shaving cream passes through the shaft, thereby increasing or decreasing the temperature of the shaving cream before it is applied to a user's face.

Device and method

A device for removing a composition from the skin, for example a depilatory composition, has a handle (1), which carries a non-shaving head (2) which is moved over the skin to effect removal of the composition. There is a zone of flexure (5) which extends laterally across the head separating it into a front portion (4) and a rear portion (3). There may be additional zones of flexure within the device.

SKIN TREATMENT DEVICE

A device (100A) for treating skin (S) comprises a skin treatment member, a skin contacting surface (10), a mounting member (104) for mounting the skin treatment member (110) and the skin contacting surface (107), and friction controlling means (124, 126, 134) configured and arranged to control friction between the skin contacting surface (107) and the skin (S) to be treated, in at least one controlled friction area (122) of the skin contacting surface (107), during use when the skin contacting surface (107) is moved over the skin (S). In particular, the friction controlling means (124, 126, 134) are adapted to introduce a slip motion of the controlled friction area (122) relative to the mounting member (104) in a direction corresponding to a local direction of extension of the skin contacting surface (107). The device comprises sensing means (130, 138) configured and arranged for detecting a first parameter, which is related to an amount of friction between the skin contacting surface (107) and the skin during use, and the friction controlling means are adapted to control a second parameter of the slip motion in dependence on a value of the first parameter detected by the sensing means (130, 138). The first parameter is for example an actual motion direction of the device relative to the skin during use, or an amount of skin doming of the skin in a hair-entry aperture of the skin treatment member. The second parameter is for example a frequency or a maximum velocity of the slip motion.

Gripping tool

A gripping tool includes first and second arms connected to each other at proximal ends, a first gripping portion having a first gripping surface, and a second gripping portion having a second gripping surface. The first and second gripping surfaces are in planar contact with each other when the first and second arms are pressed toward each other in closing directions. At least one of the first and second gripping portions is an elastic part extending toward the proximal end. When the first and second arms are further pressed in the closing directions from a state in which the first and second gripping surfaces are in planar contact with each other, the elastic part is elastically deformed while maintaining the planar contact between the first gripping surface and the second gripping surface.

Attachment for epilator and epilator

The present disclosure is concerned with an attachment for an epilator or an epilator having an axle arranged for driven movement around a center axle axis, an end plate arranged at a first end of the axle for rotation together with the axle, the end plate having at least a first functional surface, a first clamping element having a functional surface, the first functional surface of the end plate being arranged face-to-face with the functional surface of the first clamping element, and the first clamping element being arranged for repeatedly being moved towards and away from the end plate such that repeatedly a closed position is obtained in which the two functional surfaces abut on each other, wherein the end plate is an outer part of the epilator or the attachment for an epilator.

AN EPILATING DEVICE FOR EPILATING HAIR

The invention relates to an epilating device (10) for epilating hairs growing from skin, comprising a housing; an epilating system having a plurality of hair-clamping elements arranged adjacent to each other rotatably on a curved supporting shaft which extends in a plane of curvature; a drive system arranged (58) to rotate the hair-clamping elements; a skin-contacting member (16) arranged to contact the skin during use and to be pivotable relative to the housing about a first pivot axis; a compression member arranged adjacent to the epilating system to exert a compression force on the epilating system directed along a compression line, said compression member being pivotable relative to the housing about a second pivot axis to adjust a position of the compression line relative to the housing; and a linkage mechanism linking the skin-contacting member and the compression member such that a pivotal motion of the skin-contacting member about the first pivot axis over a first pivot angle results in a pivotal motion of the compression member about the second pivot axis over a second pivot angle equal to the first pivot angle; wherein the compression member is arranged in a fixed position relative to the curved supporting shaft; and the linkage mechanism links the skin-contacting member (16) and the supporting shaft such that the pivotal motion of the skin-contacting member (16) about the first pivot axis over the first pivot angle results in a pivotal motion of the supporting shaft about the second pivot axis over the second pivot angle.

HAIR REMOVAL DEVICE

The present invention is concerned with a hair removal device for removal of red hairs that has a light emission unit having a substrate and a plurality of first LED dies emitting at a peak emission wavelength in a wavelength range of between about 480 nm and about 510 nm, the first LED dies being mounted on the substrate on an area in the range of between about 0.2 cm.sup.2 and about 100 cm.sup.2, wherein the hair removal device is arranged to emit a treatment light pulse by the first LED dies having a pulse length in the range of between about 30 ms and about 200 ms, and the first LED dies have a radiant flux such that a radiant fluence on the skin of a user in the range of between about 3 J/cm.sup.2 and about 6 J/cm.sup.2 is achieved by application of the treatment light pulse.

An epilator includes an epilation head and a massage roller arranged next to the epilation head. The massage roller is rotatable about a longitudinal axis and includes pairs of elementary massaging members positioned in a V-shape relative to each other. Each elementary massaging member may be a round, elliptical, or polygonal disc.

HAIR REMOVER

Removing hair in a conventional manner is of low work efficiency. Nasal hair stereoscopically grows, and where in the nasal vestibule portion it grows is not clear. Thus, it is difficult in some cases to treat even one nasal hair. Also, using a shaver does not allow treated nasal hair to be visually recognized, which leaves uncertainty as to how much of nasal hair that has been actually treated. Therefore, a hair remover that pinches hair by compressing a spring along an axle member and removes the hair by moving with the spring being compressed is provided.
