A printing device including: a print head that performs printing on a printing target; a mount on which the printing target is placed; and a lift that positions a nail of a finger placed on the mount at a proper position appropriate for the printing by lifting the mount, and positions a printing medium other than the nail of the finger placed on the mount at a proper position appropriate for the printing by lifting the mount, wherein the mount includes a nail mount on which the finger or the nail is placed when the printing target is the nail of the finger and a medium mount on which the printing medium is placed when the printing target is the printing medium, and at least one of the nail mount and the medium mount is able to be attached and detached selectively according to the printing target.

A printing device including: a print head which performs printing on a printing area in a first nail of a finger or a toe and next performs printing on a printing area in a second nail of a finger or a toe; a mover which moves the print head; and a processor. The processor sets a printing start position in the second nail in response to a printing end position of the printing area in the first nail, the printing start position in the second nail being at a side closer to either a nail tip-side end or a root-side end of the printing area in the second nail, and controls the print head and the mover to perform the printing on the printing area in the second nail from the printing start position in the second nail after the printing is finished for the first nail.

A device for ensuring safe operation of a robot used for cosmetics applications, including the retrofitting of robots not originally design for such applications. In some embodiments, the robot is used for the automatic placement of eyelash extensions onto the natural eyelashes of a subject. In some embodiments, a safety barrier is provided by a physical barrier or light curtain. In other embodiments, readily deformable end effectors are used.

Systems and methods for cleaning or sanitizing a finger. A container has an interior sized to receive a finger, the container having a bottom portion and a wall portion extending from the bottom portion to an opening along an edge of the wall portion through which the finger may be received. The wall portion and bottom portion each have an interior surface within the container. A plurality of bristles extend from an interior surface of the container for contact with a portion of the finger when liquid is in the container.

A spa system having a chair attachment and a tabletop device. The chair attachment includes a receptacle which is removably attachable to a chair which has a motor for providing bubble treatments. The sensor data can be processed and compared with pre-stored data representative of a desired style and feedback messages generated and provided back to the user to help them achieve the style they wish to achieve based on the comparison.

The present disclosure relates to a fluid delivery system that includes a surface contact a layer and a matrix of rupturable cells. The rupturable cells contain fluid confined with the cell. The fluid is absorbed by the surface contact layer when at least one of the cells is ruptured.
