Control device for engine
In an engine having fuel supply means for supplying fuel containing gasoline to a combustion chamber and ignition means for igniting an air-fuel mixture, if knocking occurs when ignition is performed at a reference ignition timing set on a retarded side of MBT that is an ignition timing at which the engine torque is maximized in a high-load region in which the engine load is larger than a predetermined load, ignition advance control that causes the ignition means to perform ignition at a timing on an advanced side of the reference ignition timing is performed.
CRANKTRAIN PHASE ADJUSTER FOR VARIABLE COMPRESSION RATIO
A phase adjuster assembly configured to adjust a phase between a driving component and a driven component of an internal combustion engine is generally provided. The assembly includes an input gear assembly comprising an input gear configured to engage a driving component, and a spline carrier. An output gear assembly includes an output gear configured to engage a driven component, and a drive plate configured to drivingly engage with the spline carrier. Various components disclosed herein are formed as stamped sheet metal components. Additionally, various connections between adjacent components are provided via relative uncomplicated processes, such as welding.

ACTUATION ASSEMBLY FOR PHASER SYSTEM
A phaser system is provided. The system includes a first gear connected to a first plate, and a second gear connected to a second plate. A phaser assembly includes at least one piston plate, and axial displacement of the at least one piston plate is configured to adjust a phase between the first gear and the second gear. A hydraulic fluid actuator assembly is also provided that includes a hydraulic fluid circuit including an advance chamber defined on a first side of the at least one piston plate and a retard chamber defined on a second side of the at least one piston plate. A valve selectively pressurizes the advance chamber or the retard chamber such that the at least one piston plate is axially displaced.

Methods and systems for an ignition arrangement of an internal combustion engine
Methods and systems are provided for a prechamber. In one example, the prechamber comprises one or more valves for optionally adjusting gas flow therethrough. The one or more valves may allow pre-chamber and combustion chamber settings to be modified, thereby enhancing combustion operating parameters.
Full working condition passage-separated and time-separated supercharged intake internal combustion engine variable compression ratio technology
Passage-separated intake of the present invention refers to that a separate supercharged intake passage and a separate supercharged intake supply apparatus are provided such that natural intake is separated from supercharged intake to implement respective intake without mutual interference. Time-separated intake refers to that in order to avoid a cylinder C from becoming a passage between natural intake and supercharged intake, natural intake is performed first in an intake stroke, and supercharged intake is performed after a bottom dead center of the intake stroke at the end of the natural intake.
