Industrial vehicle
An industrial vehicle which is equipped with an engine and having an Eco-mode in which torque of the engine is restricted includes an accelerator, an accelerator opening detector that detects an opening of the accelerator, a vehicle speed detector that detects a speed of the vehicle, an engine speed detector that detects a speed of the engine, and a torque restriction releasing unit which, when the torque of the engine is restricted, if conditions that the opening of the accelerator detected by the accelerator opening detector is a first predetermined value or greater, that the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detector is a second predetermined value or smaller and that the engine speed detected by the engine speed detector is a third predetermined value or smaller are satisfied, releases the torque restriction.
Vehicle control apparatus, vehicle, and vehicle control method
An auxiliary current amount that is used in an auxiliary that is mounted in a vehicle is calculated. A stop time ratio of the vehicle is calculated based on a running history of the vehicle, and an estimated stop time of the vehicle that is estimated based on the stop time ratio is calculated. An SOC threshold is set based on an estimated consumption current amount that is obtained from the estimated stop time and the auxiliary current amount. A generator that is mounted in the vehicle is operated such that a value of a storage state of the battery recovers to become larger than the SOC threshold when the value of the storage state of the battery is smaller than the SOC threshold.
Method for operating a fuel injection system and fuel injection system comprising fuel injection valves with a piezo direct-drive
A method for operating a fuel injection system includes detecting the pressure prevailing in a pressure accumulator using a fuel injection valve piezo actuator that includes, in addition to the active piezo region used to actuate the closing element, a passive piezo region that acts as a pressure sensor. Using this pressure sensor, the closing element force acting on the passive piezo region, and therefore the pressure prevailing in the pressure accumulator, can be determined.

System and method for controlling vehicle acceleration
A system according to the principles of the present disclosure includes an acceleration delta module and a remedial action module. The acceleration delta module determines an acceleration delta of a vehicle based on a difference between an actual acceleration of the vehicle and a desired acceleration of the vehicle. The acceleration delta module also determines an average value of the acceleration delta corresponding to at least one of a first predetermined period and a predetermined number of samples of the acceleration delta. The remedial action module, based on the average value of the acceleration delta and independent of a torque command generated to accelerate the vehicle, selectively takes a remedial action by adjusting operation of at least one of an engine and an electric motor.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING TURBOCHARGER OPERATING SPEED
A system and method are provided for estimating the operating speed of a turbocharger. A first pressure value corresponds to pressure at or near the air inlet of the compressor, and a second pressure value corresponds to pressure at or near the air outlet of the compressor. A temperature value corresponds to a temperature at or near the air inlet of the compressor, and a flow rate value corresponds to a flow rate of air entering the air inlet of the compressor. The operating speed of the turbocharger is estimated as a function of the first pressure value, the second pressure value, the temperature value and the flow rate value.

Methods and systems for turbocharger
Methods and systems are provided for a turbocharger. In one example, a method includes adjusting one or more of a wastegate position and a position of vanes with operation of a turbocharger to reach a desired turbocharger speed via a controller. The method further includes adjusting engine operating parameters to reach the desired turbocharger speed.
