MULTI-FUNCTION ENGINE CONTROL AND INPUT SYSTEM
An assembly for an engine includes a control module including a controller operable to control at least certain aspects of the operation of the engine, a display including an input connected to the controller, and a wireless receiver connected to the controller. The wireless receiver is arranged to receive a signal from a wireless device to cause the controller to send an engine start signal to cause starting of the engine and wherein the input when actuated causes the controller to send an engine start signal to cause starting of the engine. In at least some implementations, no keyed ignition switch is provided to start the engine and the engine is started only via the wireless device or the input.

A method of controlling operation of an engine includes providing power to a control module and/or a controller included in the control module, providing an engine start input where the engine start input is communicated with the controller, determining or detecting actuation of the engine start input, sending a signal from the controller to begin an engine starting procedure to start the engine, providing multiple engine operating mode inputs via the module, determining or detecting actuation of one of the engine operating mode inputs, and controlling the engine in accordance with one or more predetermined engine control instructions associated with the engine operating mode that is associated with the actuated engine operating input.

WORKING VEHICLE
A working vehicle includes a prime mover, a driver's seat selectively set in either a first posture where a driver can sit thereon or a second posture where the driver cannot sit thereon, a speed controller to receive power from the prime mover and perform a speed-changing of the power, a PTO shaft to receive the speed-changed power from the speed controller, a posture switch to detect whether the driver's seat is set in the first or second posture, a parking switch to detect parking of a vehicle body, and a first actuator. During driving of the prime mover, the first actuator maintains the driving of the prime mover when both the parking and the driver's seat set in the second posture are detected, and stops the driving of the prime mover when neither the parking nor the driver's seat set in the second posture is detected.
WORKING MACHINE
A working machine includes a machine body, an engine on the machine body, a motor/generator to perform an assisting action in which the motor/generator functions as a motor to assist the engine in driving and an electricity generating action in which the motor/generator functions as a generator to generate electricity using power from the engine, a working device to function using power from the engine and the motor/generator, a work operation actuator for operation of the working device, an action controller to cause the assisting action to be performed when a rotation speed of the engine is equal to or less than a first rotation speed and cause the electricity generating action to be performed when the rotation speed of the engine is equal to or greater than a second rotation speed greater than the first rotation speed, and a speed controller to change the first rotation speed or the second rotation speed according to an operation amount of the work operation actuator.
WORKING MACHINE
A working machine includes a machine body, an engine on the machine body, a motor/generator to perform an assisting action in which the motor/generator functions as a motor to assist the engine in driving and an electricity generating action in which the motor/generator functions as a generator to generate electricity using power from the engine, a battery to store electricity generated by the motor/generator, an operation actuator to perform an operation of the machine body, a starting action determiner to determine, upon operation of the operation actuator, whether the operation corresponds to a starting action for the machine body, a first setter to set, if the starting action determiner determines that the operation of the operation actuator corresponds to the starting action, a torque of the motor/generator for the assisting action or the electricity generating action to a first torque, and a second setter to set, if the starting action determiner determines that the operation of the operation actuator does not correspond to the starting action, the torque for the assisting action or the electricity generating action to a second torque differing from the first torque set by the first setter.

Provided is a construction machine configured so as to prevent wasteful fuel consumption by preventing an engine stall by means of the injection of an appropriate amount of fuel. A backhoe which is a construction machine in which a hydraulic pump is driven by power from an engine is configured so that the output torque characteristics of the engine is set on the basis of the atmospheric pressure detected by an atmospheric pressure sensor which is an atmospheric pressure detection means, and so that a rotational speed is set so that the maximum torque of the engine at a low idle rotational speed is greater than the maximum absorption torque of the hydraulic pump.

Provided is a construction machine configured so as to prevent wasteful fuel consumption by preventing an engine stall by means of the injection of an appropriate amount of fuel. When controlling a driving source torque in order to accelerate a driving wheel, a driving source torque controller performs shock suppression control of controlling the driving source torque based on an acquired driving source torque so that at least one of (i) an absolute value of relative speed between power transmission members on a power transmission path decreases when backlash between the power transmission members decreases or (ii) a transmission torque which is transmitted between the power transmission members on the power transmission path decreases when the backlash between the power transmission members is eliminated.

A control device is provided for a vehicle including a drive source and an automatic transmission having a park lock mechanism for locking an output shaft and an engaging element to be engaged at the start of running. Output rotation of the drive source is input to the automatic transmission. The control device includes a control unit to limit a torque of the drive source until the release of locking by the park lock mechanism is completed in response to an instruction being given to change from a parking range to a travel range. The control unit is configured to limit the torque of the drive source from after the instruction is given to change from the parking range to the travel range until the release of locking by the park lock mechanism is completed.
