Control apparatus for vehicle, vehicle, and motor
A control apparatus of a vehicle obtains information indicating a relationship between an instruction value to be provided to an actuator in accordance with a driving condition of a vehicle and a torque capacity of a clutch. The control apparatus includes a table holding unit that stores a correction table to be applied under a condition when an output torque from the engine is increasing and a correction table to be applied under a condition when an output torque from the engine is decreasing, a gear change condition determining unit that determines under which condition a gear change is executed, and a correction table update unit that updates the correction table to be applied under the determined condition based on the information indicating a relationship between a target value and an actual value of the torque capacity generated at the inertia phase.
ENGINE CONTROL DEVICE AND ENGINE
An ECU of an engine performs control to keep a constant engine speed when a load factor is equal to or less than a predetermined value, and to reduce and correct the engine speed in accordance with an increase in the load factor when the load factor exceeds the predetermined value. The ECU is provided with a reference droop control correction amount calculation unit (36), a correction amount adjustment map storage unit, and a post-adjustment correction amount calculation unit (38). The reference droop control correction amount calculation unit (36) obtains an engine speed reference reduction correction amount NBD that is increased at a constant rate in accordance with the increase in the load factor from the predetermined value. The correction amount adjustment map storage unit stores, as a correction amount adjustment map (111), a subtraction factor that varies depending on the load factor. On the basis of the engine speed reference reduction correction amount NBD and the subtraction factor, the post-adjustment correction amount calculation unit (38) calculates an engine speed reduction correction amount ND as an amount by which the engine speed is reduced and corrected in accordance with the increase in the load factor when the load factor exceeds the predetermined value.
VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL DEVICE FOR INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE
A vehicle speed control device for an industrial vehicle is configured to control a vehicle speed of the industrial vehicle. The vehicle speed control device includes an operation detector that is configured to detect whether an accelerator pedal is being operated and a controller that is configured to control the vehicle speed of the industrial vehicle by controlling the rotation speed of the engine. The controller is configured to derive a vehicle speed limit value that increases during an operated state of the accelerator pedal and decreases during a non-operated state of the accelerator pedal, and set an upper limit value of the vehicle speed to the derived vehicle speed limit value.
ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENGINES
A system includes an electronic fuel injection system of an engine, the electronic fuel injection system including an electronic governor control unit for controlling various functions of the engine.
System and method for evaluating operating capability of a prime mover
A method of evaluating operating capability of a prime mover includes: starting the prime mover with a minimum load requirement threshold; obtaining a reference prime mover operation parameter for the prime mover; comparing the reference prime mover operation parameter with a standard prime mover operation parameter to determine a reference matrix; and adjusting via a TRS controller a standard operation threshold based on the reference matrix to obtain an optimal operation threshold.
Internal combustion engine control device, and control method
In order to prevent an abnormal combustion due to oil, a restriction region (B) is designated on a low-speed and high-load side of an internal combustion engine (1), and an opening of throttle valve (12) is restricted so that an engine operating condition is not observed within the restriction region (B). A predetermined designated inspection region (A) is set so as to include the restriction region (B), and it is judged whether or not the abnormal combustion actually occurred when the internal combustion engine (1) is running within the designated inspection region (A). If the abnormal combustion was detected, the restriction region (B) is expanded, meanwhile, if the abnormal combustion was not detected, the expanded restriction region (B) is gradually decreased. If the abnormal combustion occurred at a shorter interval than a threshold value, the restriction region (B) is expanded at once to a predetermined size.
GASEOUS FUEL CONSUMING ENGINE CONTROLLING SYSTEMS
According to some embodiments, the present disclosure may relate to a system including a gaseous fuel consuming engine operating at an air to fuel ratio (AFR) and including a throttle valve controlling a speed of engine, and an engine controller coupled to the engine. The engine controller may be configured to obtain the speed of the engine and obtain the AFR of the engine. The engine controller may also be configured to, based on a transient event affecting the engine, coordinate modification of both the throttle valve to change the speed of the engine and trim valve to change the AFR of the engine to maintain at least one of the speed and the AFR of the engine within a threshold deviance.
Condensation control system for engine
A system for controlling condensation of water within an intake manifold of an engine is disclosed. The system may have a humidity sensor. The humidity sensor may be configured to generate a signal indicative of a humidity of intake air. The system may also have a controller communicably coupled to the humidity sensor. The controller may be configured to receive the signal indicative of the humidity of the intake air. The controller may be also configured to control an operational parameter of at least one of the engine and an engine component to maintain the humidity of the intake air within the intake manifold below a predetermined threshold.
Method of offering finely calibrated engine speed control to a large number of diverse power take-off (PTO) applications
Systems and methods are provided for controlling a power plant during use of a power take-off (PTO) device, wherein the responsiveness and stability of the controller are adjustable by an operator in the field. The use of setting maps allows fine tuning of controller responsiveness while also ensuring that expected performance would be achieved at any setting within the setting map. In some embodiments, a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller is used to control engine speed, and gains for the proportional, integral, and derivative terms are obtained from setting maps based on a responsiveness setting chosen by a vehicle operator.
Method and system for controlling a vehicle engine speed
Disclosed is a method for controlling a speed of a vehicle combustion engine, the engine including at least one combustion chamber, into which a mixture of air and fuel is injected, and an air box, configured to inject the air into the combustion chamber and having an air flow rate controlled by a regulating butterfly valve, the regulating butterfly valve having a variable angular position, controlled by a predetermined position of an actuator. The method includes the steps of evaluating a so-called “load” resistant torque resulting from a plurality of external loads applied to the engine, determining, from the calculated load resistant torque, a position of the actuator, so as to determine an angular position of the regulating butterfly valve, and controlling the position of the actuator, so as to control the engine speed.
