Apparatus and methods for providing samples (e.g., cosmetic samples) with primary product packages (e.g., cosmetic product packages) exterior to the primary product package.

A glue bottle includes a bottle body and a head part mating with each other. A housing surrounds the bottle body, a top portion of the bottle body sticks out of the housing and mating with the head part, a bottom portion of the bottle body is disposed within the housing. The housing has a through hole and a guiding hole connected to the through hole. The bottle body has a guiding bar mating with the guiding hole. The housing is made of elastic material. The housing further has at least one protrusion located at an inner surface of the housing and in contact with the bottle body. The housing further has at least one notch. When two opposite edges of the notch are in contact with each other, the protrusion is forced to squeeze the bottle body so as to deform the bottle body.

A removable fragrance sampler is disclosed in which the sampler comprises a bottom ply having an upper surface and a lower surface with the lower surface having a layer of re-positionable pressure sensitive adhesive and a top ply having a sample material therein, the top ply being attached to the upper surface of the bottom ply, and the bottom ply being larger than the top ply.

A make-up product (1), comprising a base (2) to which a cover (5) is associated and at least a first (3) and a second make-up element (4) constrained to the base (2) by constraining means (8); the first make-up element (3) comprises a first sponge (3A) soaked with a first make-up fluid, the second make-up element (4) comprising a second sponge (4A) soaked with a second make-up fluid different from the first make-up fluid, the first (3) and the second make-up element (4) being mutually arranged side by side on said base (2).

A method for protecting the skin against UV rays uses at least two cosmetic skincare and/or make-up compositions, and comprises applying a first layer of a first cosmetic composition comprising an oil phase and, optionally, an aqueous phase, followed by applying, on the first layer, a second layer of a second anhydrous composition comprising at least 70 wt.-% powders selected from among fillers and pigments, and an oil phase. At least one of the two compositions contains at least one UV filter, preferably a liposoluble UV filter. The first composition may be a make-up foundation or skincare base. The second composition may be a loose or compact powder.

A method for protecting the skin against UV rays uses at least two cosmetic skincare and/or make-up compositions, and comprises applying a first layer of a first cosmetic composition comprising an oil phase and, optionally, an aqueous phase, followed by applying, on the first layer, a second layer of a second anhydrous composition comprising at least 70 wt.-% powders selected from among fillers and pigments, and an oil phase. At least one of the two compositions contains at least one UV filter, preferably a liposoluble UV filter. The first composition may be a make-up foundation or skincare base. Embodiments of the invention relate to tracking processor transactional read and write sets, thereby eliminating speculative mispredictions. Both non-speculative read set and write set indications are maintained for a transaction. The indications are stored in cache. In addition, load and write queues of addresses are maintained. The load queue of addresses relates to speculative members of a read set and the write queue of addresses relates to speculating member of a write set. For a received read request, a transaction resolution process takes place, and a resolution is performed if an address match in the write queue is detected. Similarly, for a receive write request the transaction interference additionally checks the load queue and the non-speculative read set for the pending address.
