Bottom feed fuel bowl
An apparatus and method are provided for a fuel bowl to supply liquid fuel to a carburetor. The fuel bowl comprises a float chamber and a fuel inlet cavity which receives a fuel delivery insert. The fuel delivery insert receives a fuel inlet valve and comprises passages to direct incoming fuel to a bottom portion of the float chamber. A float comprises an elongate member rotatably hinged within a float cavity of the fuel delivery insert, such that the float rises according to a quantity of fuel within the float chamber. The fuel inlet valve supplies liquid fuel to the float chamber by way of the passages according to the operation of the float within the float chamber. A ventilation chamber allows air and fuel vapors to exit as liquid fuel enters the float chamber while preventing liquid fuel from entering into the carburetor.
WORKING VEHICLE
A working vehicle according to the present invention is configured with a fuel tank, a fuel sensor for detecting an amount of fuel stored in the fuel tank, and an informing device (a controller, informing switch, and speaker) for informing the stored amount of fuel detected by the fuel sensor, by changing the informing pattern in response to this stored amount of fuel. The working vehicle is also configured with an exhaust gas purification system for purifying exhaust gas using urea water, a urea water tank, a urea water sensor for detecting the amount of urea water stored in the urea water tank, and an informing device (the controller, informing switch, and speaker) for informing a stored amount of urea water detected by the urea water sensor, by changing the informing pattern in response to this stored amount of urea water.
Modified float bowl and drain valve for a carburetor
A carburetor draining system for safe and convenient draining. A vessel posterior end of a vessel is disposed against a carburetor body. A vessel base is disposed against a vessel anterior end. A base aperture is disposed on the vessel base. A stem posterior portion of a drain stem is disposed inside the vessel chamber and a stem anterior portion protrudes from the base aperture. A drain port disposed through the stem posterior portion intersects a drain channel disposed inside the stem anterior portion. A locking mechanism secures the vessel to the carburetor body. A valve body of a valve is removeably disposed inside the drain channel. A first seal on the valve body is pressed against an interior surface of the drain channel. A second seal is disposed on a valve stem. A valve handle moves the valve into a closed position or an open position for draining.
Carburetors having filter arrangements
A carburetor has a carburetor body having a venturi passage that conveys air from an air inlet to an air outlet. A throttle valve controls flow of the air in the venturi passage. The throttle valve is movable into a closed position, an open position, and at least one transition position between the closed position and the open position. A fuel bowl holds fuel for mixing with the air in the venturi passage. A main nozzle discharges the fuel from the fuel bowl to the air in the venturi passage when the throttle is in the open position. A secondary circuit that is smaller than the main nozzle discharges fuel from the fuel bowl to the air in the venturi passage when the throttle is in the closed position, the transition position, and the open position. A filter is configured to remove particulate matter from the fuel in the fuel howl prior to discharge via the secondary circuit. Methods are for making the carburetor and operating the carburetor.
