Fuel injection valve
Provided is a fuel injection valve capable of stably injecting a fuel formed into a thin film. The fuel injection valve includes: a valve seat including a fuel path and a valve seat portion therein; a valve member including an abutment portion configured to sit on the valve seat portion, for opening and closing the fuel path through separation and contact of the abutment portion away from and with the valve seat portion; and a fuel chamber brought into communication with the fuel path, in which: the fuel chamber includes slit-like injection holes for injecting a fuel; and each of the injection holes has a slit-like shape for making fuel flows to collide against each other in a long axis direction of each of the injection holes to form a liquid film in a direction crossing the long axis direction.
Valve device for switching or metering a fluid
A valve device for switching or metering a fluid includes a housing, a flow channel defined by the housing, and a valve body arranged in the flow channel. The valve body has a sealing section which contacts a housing-side sealing seat when the valve device is closed. The sealing section at least slightly protrudes beyond a surface of the valve body facing the sealing seat.
Fuel injection valve
A fuel injection valve is provided that can reduce variations in stroke length by reducing distortion during welding, and consequently can reduce variations in flow rate of injected fuel. The fuel injection valve has a nozzle; a fixed valve that is press-fit into a tip of the nozzle and has a fuel injection port from which the fuel is injected; and a movable element that forms a fuel seal section by abutting against the fixed valve, and opens and closes the fuel injection port. The fixed valve and the nozzle are fixed in place by welding at a position with no space due to press-fitting. A groove that serves as an empty space is provided in a continuation of a welded section that is formed in the fixed valve and the nozzle by the welding.
Fuel injection control device and fuel injection system
A fuel injection control device is adapted for a fuel injection system including an injector and a high-pressure pump that raises pressure of fuel and supplies the fuel to the injector. The fuel injection control device includes a selecting unit for selecting by which one of full lift injection and partial injection to inject fuel, and a pump control unit for controlling operation of the high-pressure pump such that a pressure of fuel supplied to the injector coincides with a target pressure. The selecting unit selects the partial injection when a required injection quantity of fuel is equal to or smaller than a partial maximum injection quantity. A fuel injection system includes the fuel injection control device, the injector, and the high-pressure pump.
Piezo Common Rail Injector With Hydraulic Clearance Compensation Integrated Into The Servo Valve
The present disclosure relates to internal combustion engines. The teachings thereof may be embodied in injection valves with servo-valve control for injecting fuel into the combustion chamber. For example, an injection valve may include a valve pin connected to a valve body and an actuator preloaded by an actuator spring. The valve pin is fitted with a very small clearance to form a sealing gap between the valve pin and the valve body which includes bores. The lower end of the valve pin forms a coupling volume between the valve pin and the valve body, connected via the sealing gap and the bores to the valve chamber. The sealing gap provides a fluidic connection between the coupling volume and the valve chamber, but, during the short time of valve actuation, practically no exchange of fluid can take place between coupling volume and valve chamber so that the coupling volume does not substantially change in said short time.
Constant pressure self-regulating common rail single piston pump
The pump delivered pressure is regulated to a substantially constant set value, and output flow is varied by an inlet metering valve (5) via feedback from the motion of, or flow from the spilled fuel through, a delivered pressure regulator (13, 19). The pressure regulating element can be biased to close a seal surface (12′) against flow from the outlet side of the pump (14) toward the inlet metering valve when the pump is turned off, thereby holding sufficient rail pressure to prevent boiling during hot soak conditions. In another aspect, a flow stabilization orifice (18) is provided between the outlet of the pump and the inlet metering valve, e.g., upstream of the pressure regulating element. In yet a further aspect, the inlet metering valve is hydraulically responsive (6, S, L) to changes in flow resulting from movement of the pressure responsive element (13).
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR FUEL INJECTOR CONTROL
Methods and systems are provided for detection of a closing time for a solenoid valve. In one example, a method may include monitoring a current of the solenoid valve, filtering the current, and determining the closing time of the solenoid valve based on each of the current and the filtered current. In some examples, the solenoid valve may be an electrically-actuated fuel injection valve. In some examples, determining the closing time may include using the filtered current to determine an inflection point of the current.
Fuel injector
A fuel injector includes a control valve assembly arranged between an actuator assembly and a nozzle assembly. A 3-way valve controls flow for filling or draining a control chamber through a first throttle and through a second throttle for enabling or preventing fuel injection. The second throttle is a through orifice provided in a plate arranged in the control chamber.
Fuel Injection Valve
An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel injection valve capable of suppressing fuel adhesion to a nozzle surface. Therefore, an injection hole 107 has a curved surface portion 107E formed between a peripheral edge 107I of an inlet opening 107G and an inner peripheral surface 107F. The curved surface portion 107E has a center-side curved surface portion 107AE and an outer-peripheral-side curved surface portion 107BE. The center-side curved surface portion 107AE is formed to have a width W107AE that is larger than the width W107BE of the outer-peripheral-side curved surface portion 107BE.
Fuel injection valve
A fuel injection valve includes a needle valve that controls communication between a high pressure chamber and an injection hole, a follower valve provided inside a control chamber controlled by fuel pressure inside an intermediate chamber, and an open-close valve that controls communication between a first passage and a low pressure passage and communication between a second passage and the low pressure passage. The fuel injection valve is configured to control the gradient of the fuel injection rate from the injection hole with an improved configuration.
