Systems, methods and file format for 3D printing of microstructures
Systems, methods, and new file formats are provided for printing 3D microstructures. In some implementations, a new file format is provided that defines 3D objects by a wireframe model expressed as a collection of wires. Because wires and their parameters are defined within the new file format, objects may be processed more efficiently and quickly to support 3D rendering operations. Such methods may be used to print new articles, such as eyelashes, bushes, swabs and other novel items.

Oral Hygiene Appliance
The present invention is directed to a dental hygiene appliance, a pad usable in such an appliance, and a method of using such an appliance. The dental hygiene appliance comprises a plurality of mushroom-shaped bristles, wherein the mushroom-shaped bristles comprise a material with Shore 00 hardness between about 50 and about 100. The mushroom-shaped bristles comprise a stipe, a pileus, and optionally a brim. The dental hygiene appliance may be a monolithic body, or comprises a monofacial pad, or bifacial pad, that is held by a dental hygiene appliance frame. The advantage of having a brim is that it offers a larger area for dental hygiene appliance to interact with the tooth surface, and the brim allows the brim to get into crevices of teeth that are too small for pileus to enter. The interstitial space between the mushroom-shaped bristles may also comprise a dentifrice composition.

SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus includes a housing including an upright handle assembly and a base mounted to the upright handle assembly and adapted for movement across a surface to be cleaned. The surface cleaning apparatus is further provided with a fluid delivery system comprising a fluid dispenser configured to dispense fluid to a brushroll and at least one fluid delivery channel forming a portion of a fluid delivery pathway. The fluid delivery channel can extend adjacent to a portion of the suction nozzle assembly. An interference wiper interfaces with a portion of the brushroll to remove excess liquid from the brushroll.

Method for manufacturing a cosmetic product applicator by additive manufacturing
A method for manufacturing a cosmetic product applicator including a gripping part and an applicator part having bristles or teeth. The method includes additive manufacturing (S1) by sintering a powder of a plastics material followed by depowdering (S2) and post-treatment for the removal of particles that have become detached from the cosmetic product applicator or are partially sintered, the post-treatment including blasting (S4) and ionizing blowing (S5). This method allows the removal of particles likely to be irritating, for example with a size greater than 500 micrometers, while being suitable for industrial production. The invention also relates to an associated production method.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INTERDENTAL CLEANING TOOL
A method for manufacturing an interdental cleaning tool is provided that is capable of suppressing molding defects of the interdental cleaning tool. The method for manufacturing an interdental cleaning tool includes: a first step of injecting a base material into primary molds 40, 41 to mold a base material portion 10 including a base section 11 and a shaft section 12 extending from the base section 11; and a second step of injecting a soft material into secondary molds 50, 51, in which the base material portion 10 is placed, from a position corresponding to a middle part 12b of the shaft section 12 located further toward the proximal side than a distal end part 12a to mold a soft portion 20 including a covering section 21 that covers the distal end part 12a of the shaft section 12 and a plurality of projections 22 projecting from the covering section 21, and an extension soft portion 30 that covers the middle part 12b of the shaft section 12 so as to extend the covering section 21 toward the proximal side of the shaft section 12, the extension soft portion 30 not having the projections 22.
