UTILITY BRUSH
The invention provides for an improved article of manufacturing, being a utility brush that is designed to be made from material that minimizes abrasion to surfaces. This brush is made from materials excluding metal and other materials that can cause abrasion to surfaces upon the utility brush making physical contact with those surfaces. The utility brush being further designed to be made of material that excludes adhesives, where adhesives can be vulnerable to decomposition caused by physical contact with chemical solvents that could be applied to the utility brush or to the surfaces. The brush can be further dimensioned and/or customized, to brush surfaces located within oddly dimensioned and/or difficult to access spaces, including small and/or narrow spaces and crevices.

Oral care implement or head plate therefor and method of forming the same
A method of forming an oral care implement, a method of forming a head plate for an oral care implement, and an oral care implement or head plate formed therefrom. The head plate may have micro-sized or fine features. The method may include providing an amount of a first solid material upstream of a first mold cavity; prior to the first solid material entering the first mold cavity, applying ultrasonic energy to the first solid material to melt the first solid material into a first molten material; flowing the first molten material into the first mold cavity; allowing the first molten material to harden within the first mold cavity to form a head plate comprising micro-sized features; forming a body from a second material, the body including a handle portion and a head portion; and coupling the head plate to the head portion of the body.
Bio-resorbable debride or implant cleaning tool and method of manufacturing the same
The present invention is directed to a debridement and/or implant cleaning tool (1) in which the means for cleaning (4) is made of a biodegradable material. Thus, if parts of the means for cleaning (4) come loose during use, these will be degraded by natural processes in the body and will not remain in the body and cause negative body reactions.
Brush head manufacturing methods
A method (200) for manufacturing a brush head (100). The method includes the steps of providing a plurality of polypropylene bristle tuft retention rings (50), and inserting a respective nylon bristle tuft (21) into each of the bristle tuft retention rings. Heat is applied to each bristle tuft proximal end (23) at a temperature sufficient to at least partially melt the bristle tuft proximal end and create a proximal head portion (26). The platen (42) of the brush head is positioned in relation to the retaining rings (50) and proximal head portions (26) to define a space (92) in relation to the proximal head portions for injection of a thermoplastic elastomer, and the thermoplastic elastomer is injected into the space to create an elastomeric matrix (30) that at least partially encompasses the neck and the proximal head portions.

Applicator with Pivotable Bristle-Covered Wings
A cosmetics applicator (1) with a core (2) with the length (K), which extends along the longitudinal axis (L) of the applicator (1), and fingers (7) which protrude outwards therefrom and are supported by several wings (4) that are each hinged to the core (2) in a pivotable manner about a preferably line-shaped pivot axis, wherein several wings (4) are disposed on the core (2) which extend only over a fraction 1/n*K along the core (2) in each case, wherein n1.3, and the core (2) additionally has immovable fingers (10) distally in front of and/or proximally behind the wings (4), as viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis (L).
Cosmetic Applicator Comprising Holes
The applicator for applying an eyelash cosmetic includes a core having a cavity and side holes connecting the cavity to the exterior of the core. The holes are disposed in a staggered arrangement.
Interdental cleaner
An interdental cleaner has a rod-shaped support which is made of plastics material and the rear end region of which has a handle part and the opposite front end region of which supports a coating made of a soft-elastic plastics material. At least one radially protruding finger which is integrally connected to the coating is arranged on the outside of the coating. A recess is formed in the outer surface of the coating, and the radially inner foot region of the finger is arranged in the recess and is connected to the coating at the bottom of the recess.
Twisted in wire brush having a molded tip and method of assembly therefor
A brush includes a wire core, a round tip formed on a distal end of the wire core, the round tip being unitary with the wire core section and being formed by melting or welding a portion of the wire core at the distal end, and a molded tip attached to the wire core at the distal end via a ball-and-socket connection.
