Rotary brush for carwash
A rotary brush for a carwash comprised of a rotational hub, a plastic clip core, a plurality of longitudinal washing elements (“LWE”) and an equal plurality of plastic clips, for retaining the LWE to the plastic clip core. A plastic clip core is comprised of a plastic clip core, a plurality of longitudinal washing elements (“LWE”) and an equal plurality of plastic clips. The plastic clip core assembly is mated to a rotational hub, creating the rotary brush. The plastic clip core has a plurality of semi-cylindrical void cavities, each with an adjoining cylindrical void cavity. Each plastic clip has two parallel members, a first member and a second member. Each LWE has an upper edge, lower edge, free edge, and a cylindrical mount. A first member of a plastic clip fits into the cylindrical mount of the LWE and the semi-cylindrical void cavity. The second member of the plastic clip fits into the cylindrical void cavity, thus securing the LWE to the plastic clip core. The plastic clip core mates with the rotational hub in a no-slip condition.

DENTAL POLISHING CUP
A dental polishing cup includes a body that defines a cup cavity for holding a dental treatment material, with the cup having an opening at its distal end. A portion of the body includes an enhanced-flexibility band (EFB) situated circumferentially at a certain distance from the distal end, the EFB providing a lesser stiffness of the body than other portions of the body that are situated lengthwise immediately distally and immediately proximately of the EFB.
Cosmetic applicator comprising projecting loops
The invention relates to a mascara applicator having an elongate general shape defining a longitudinal axis and includes projections. At least one of the projections forms a loop defining a through-hole having a main opening axis forming an angle of more than 45° with a plane radial to the longitudinal axis of the applicator.
FLOOR CLEANER
A cleaning head for a floor cleaner including a housing, a brushroll, a suction inlet, and a mounting plate. The mounting plate includes an edge brush adjacent the suction inlet and extending to a lateral side of the housing. The edge brush is configured to direct dirt and debris from the lateral side of the floor cleaner to the suction inlet.
SHAFT AND A COUPLING MEMBER FOR COUPLING SHAFTS
A coupling member to couple a first shaft with a second shaft is disclosed. The coupling member may include a flat member having a set of holes positioned along its circumference. The set of holes may include a first sub-set of holes coinciding with holes associated with the first shaft and a second sub-set of holes coinciding with holes associated with the second shaft. Each of the first shaft and the second shaft may include a plurality of rib segments, each rib segment having a hole. The coupling member may be configured to couple with the first shaft via the first sub-set of holes and the plurality of holes associated with the first shaft. The coupling member may be further configured to couple with the second shaft via the second sub-set of holes and the plurality of holes associated with the second shaft.
Toothbrush heads comprising a two-component cleaning element and method for producing the same
A toothbrush head, including at least one two-component cleaning element and at least one bristle tuft element, is produced by injection molding. To achieve high design flexibility regarding the arrangement of the two-component cleaning elements and regarding the material choice, the two-component cleaning elements are manufactured separately or in an upstream molding step. Then the two-component cleaning elements, together with the bristle tufts, are over-molded with plastic material, to form the brush head or a part thereof.
MOLD INSERT AND METHOD OF MAKING A MOLD INSERT
A mold insert has at least one filament cavity and a stack of at least a first and second insert plates, wherein the first plate has a front face that closely abuts a front face of the second insert plate. A portion of the a filament cavity is provided in at least one of the front faces of the first and second insert plates such that the filament cavity is open at a top surface of the mold insert but does not extend to a bottom surface of the mold insert. A venting cavity is provided in the same front face of the insert plate in which the portion of the at least one filament cavity is provided. The venting cavity, which is in air-conducting connection with the blind-hole end of the filament cavity, has a depth between 1 μm and 20 μm. A method of manufacturing the mold insert includes providing first and second insert plates, forming a portion of a filament cavity into at least one of the front faces of the insert plates, forming a venting cavity into the front face with the filament cavity, and bringing the front faces of the plates into close abutment to form a filament cavity.
