Fluid Turbine System and Method of Use
20250198378 · 2025-06-19 · ·

Systems and methods for generating electricity from a fluid turbine are provided. In one aspect, the system employs a Tesla turbine to rotate a drive shaft, the drive shaft providing torque to operate an electrical generator. The incoming fluid flow that operates the Tesla turbine enters a hollow portion of the drive shaft and exists the system as an exhaust flow. The system may operate from standard water supplies provided to a residence or business, thereby reclaiming excess water pressure energy.

A turbine system includes a housing with a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a rotational mount, and a turbine mounted on the rotational mount. The turbine comprises a first disk with a through-hole, a plurality of first foils arranged radially, and a last disk with a smaller through-hole and. The first foils define a fluid path from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet. The design allows for efficient fluid flow and rotation of the turbine about the axis, providing an effective and reliable turbine system for various applications.

Fluid flow converter with interstage flow channel
