Mechanically driven modular diaphragm pump

Modular mechanically driven diaphragm pump features are presented herein. Such a diaphragm pump can include a motor, a drive mechanism, and a coupling mounted on a wheeled frame. A diaphragm pump can be mounted to the coupling by forming mechanical static and dynamic connections to brace a housing of the diaphragm pump relative to a drive rod which is moved by the drive mechanism to operate the pump. These mechanical static and dynamic connections can be broken to dismount the pump for replacement or servicing. In some cases, a gas charge can be introduced on the non-working fluid side of the diaphragm to boost performance and/or a dampener can be integrated into the housing of the diaphragm pump and mounted/dismounted with the diaphragm pump.

Inline pump with rear attachable syringe
09849221 · 2017-12-26 · ·

Inline pumps with rear attachable syringes are disclosed. The pump and the syringe are each designed so that the pump syringe system may be easily coupled and decoupled in the field. An end mount block on the pump has a slot shaped to accept a similarly shaped plunger button and plunger rod on the syringe. A user aligns the plunger button of the syringe next to the slot on the mount block of the pump, and slides the plunger button and rod into the inner cavity of the pump. Both the pump and the syringe have threaded couplers which securely couple the pump to the syringe by rotating the couplers with respect to each other.

BELLOWS PUMP APPARATUS

The bellows pump device supplies pressurized air to one air chamber of two hermetic air chambers thereby to cause a bellows to perform expansion operation to suck a transport fluid, and supplies pressurized air to the other air chamber thereby to cause the bellows to perform contraction operation to discharge the transport fluid. The bellows pump device includes: an electropneumatic regulator configured to adjust a first air pressure of the pressurized air to be supplied to the one air chamber, and a second air pressure of the pressurized air to be supplied to the other air chamber; and a control unit configured to control the electropneumatic regulator such that, at least at a time point of end of expansion during expansion operation of the bellows, the first air pressure is lower than the second air pressure.

Damper for a high-pressure pump

A damper for a high-pressure pump includes a housing and a cover that can be coupled to the housing to form a damping space. The cover has an elevation including a plurality of concave regions and a plurality of convex regions, wherein the concave and convex regions are arranged about a central region of the elevation. Each of the concave regions is arranged between two of the convex regions in order to scatter sound.

Method of dampening pressure pulsations in a working fluid within a conduit
09829139 · 2017-11-28 · ·

A method is provided for actively compensating for pressure changes of a working fluid within a conduit. A first cavity is provided in fluid communication with the conduit. A second cavity is in fluid communication with a control fluid. A plunger is in communication with both the first cavity and the second cavity and is movable in response to pressure changes of the working fluid in the conduit. The plunger is re-centered. Re-centering the plunger includes the following steps. Position data representative of movement of the plunger is collected. The position data is analyzed with a control unit to determine an average position of the plunger which is offset relative to a center position. The average position of the plunger is compared, with a control unit, to the center position. A signal is relayed from the control unit to a control valve to urge the plunger toward the center position.
