METHOD OF CONTROLLING A VOLUME WHICH CAN BE CONVEYED WITH A METERING PUMP
20210396219 · 2021-12-23 ·

The present invention concerns a method of controlling a liquid volume which can be conveyed with a metering pump in a given time, comprising the steps: a. providing an input signal for controlling the liquid volume which can be conveyed with the metering pump in the given time, and b.lLinking the input signal to an actuating signal which influences the liquid volume which can be conveyed with the metering pump in the given time so that a change in the input signal leads to a change in the actuating signal and thus a change in the liquid volume which can be conveyed. To react to individual process demands it is proposed according to the invention that linking in step b. is effected in such a way that a change in the input signal leads to a change in the liquid volume which can be conveyed with the metering pump in the given time, which change in the liquid volume is non-proportional to the change in the input signal.

DISPLACEMENT PUMP

In certain examples, a printing system comprises: a depositing system to deposit printing fluid on a print medium; a reservoir; and a displacement pump to move printing fluid to the depositing system from the reservoir. The displacement pump comprises: a pump body defining a chamber, an inlet to fluidly connect the chamber to the reservoir, and an outlet to fluidly connect the chamber to the depositing system; and a displacement member movable relative to the pump body; the displacement member having an outer surface and comprising a cavity located in a portion of the outer surface disposed in the chamber. In use, the displacement member is movable to close the inlet and to force printing fluid in the chamber through the outlet to the depositing system.

Plunger pump

A plunger pump, comprising: a liquid tank; a pump body including a liquid storage part, a suction passage configured to allow communication between the liquid storage part and the liquid tank and a discharge passage configured to discharge a liquid in the liquid storage part to outside; and a plunger reciprocally movably supported in the pump body so that a tip reaches the liquid storage part. The suction passage includes a first suction passage, the tip of the plunger being reciprocally slidably inserted into the first suction passage, and a second suction passage provided in parallel to the first suction passage, and a check valve configured to allow only a flow of the liquid from the liquid tank to the liquid storage space is disposed in the second suction passage.

A machine to automatically dispense at least one fluid product, in particular a liquid dye, comprising support members configured to support one or more dispensing units each having a tank, in which said fluid product to be dispensed is contained, a dispensing nozzle and a pumping member, configured to selectively convey a desired quantity of the fluid product from the tank to the dispensing nozzle and from the latter to an external container. Rapid attachment means, drivable by an actuation element, which can also be possibly driven manually, are present to allow the easy and simple positioning of each dispensing unit on the support means and the equally easy and simple removal of each dispensing unit from the support members.

TRANSFER PUMP ASSEMBLY

A transfer pump includes a drive module having electronic components and a fluid module not including electronic components. The drive module provides motive power to a pump of the fluid module to power pumping by the fluid module. The drive module is movably mounted to the fluid module at dynamic and static interfaces to power reciprocation of a pumping component of the fluid module by the dynamic interface and such the drive module supports the fluid module at the static interface.

A closing engine including a framework, fluid drivers, and a flow control device. The framework has an inlet that receives a fluid and an outlet that dispenses the fluid. The fluid drivers are supported by the framework and pump fluid toward the outlet. The flow control device is coupled to the framework and is in fluid communication with the inlet, the outlet, and the fluid drivers. The fluid drivers are cooperatively driven by a motive force from fluid flow through the inlet to dispense fluid via the outlet, and to drive the flow control device to distribute diluent to the diluent drivers in a coordinated manner.
