A floating vessel with a filtration and testing device integral thereon, for simultaneously performing cleaning of fluid used in the oil and natural gas industry for completions, workovers, and commissioning of wells while simultaneously pressure testing of two separate groups of pressurized equipment using fluid cleaned by the filtration and testing device. The floating vessel having a hull with a support structure mounted thereto which contains a cleaning cycle assembly and a pressure testing cycle assembly connected in parallel to a controller for cleaning fluid and regulating pressure by comparing fluid pressures to preset limits. The controller regulates cleaning of first and second dirty hydraulic fluids and regulates pressure of cleaned hydraulic fluids and secondary fluids for pressure testing of the two different groups of pressurized equipment simultaneously.

Independent control of auger and hopper assembly in electric blender system

Embodiments relate to a hydraulic fracturing system that includes a blender unit. The system includes an auger and hopper assembly to receive proppant from a proppant source and feed the proppant to the blender unit for mixing with a fluid. A first power source is used to power the blender unit in order to mix the proppant with the fluid and prepare a fracturing slurry. A second power source independently powers the auger and hopper assembly in order to align the hopper of the auger and hopper assembly with a proppant feed from the proppant source. Thus, the auger and hopper assembly can be stowed or deployed without use of the first power source, which is the main power supply to the blender unit.

SYSTEM FOR REDUCING VIBRATIONS IN A PRESSURE PUMPING FLEET
20190040727 · 2019-02-07 · ·

An electrically powered hydraulic fracturing system having pumps for pressurizing fracturing fluid, piping for carrying fracturing fluid, and vibration reducing equipment for use with the piping. The vibration reducing equipment includes helical coils that support the piping. The coils are made of a wire rope made of strands of steel cable twisted together. Grooved fittings are provided on some piping connections, and which allow pivoting between adjacent fluid conveyance members. Swivel joints are strategically located in the piping which allow rotational flexing between adjacent sections of the piping; thereby attenuating vibration in the piping but without stressing the piping.

Hydraulic pumping system with enhanced piston rod sealing

A system can include an actuator with a piston rod that displaces in response to pressure in the actuator, a seal assembly that seals about the piston rod and includes seal cartridges, each including a dynamic seal sealingly engaging the rod, and each including a static seal sealingly engaging a seal assembly housing, and a port providing communication between a housing exterior and a housing interior between adjacent static seals. A method can include preventing leakage from a well with a seal assembly about a piston rod of a hydraulic actuator, the seal assembly including seal cartridges, each including a dynamic seal that sealingly engages the rod, and each including a static seal that sealingly engages a seal assembly housing, enabling communication through a housing sidewall to a housing interior between adjacent static seals, and reciprocably displacing the rod in response to pressure variations in the actuator.
