METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR NEAR-ISOTHERMAL COMPRESSED GAS ENERGY STORAGE
A method and apparatus for gas compression and expansion that simultaneously serves as storage tank for the compressed gas, and heat exchanger for heat transfer to the environment to maintain near-isothermal conditions.
CRYOGENIC PUMP AND INLET HEADER
A header and a pump end for a cryogenic pump are provided for efficient liquid pumping operation. The header directs supplied liquid into a sump and gas into a freeboard. The liquid in the header can be distributed along the header and decanted over a weir to the sump, the liquid being drawn from the sump and up through the vessel to the pump end. Gas in the freeboard is collected for venting or return to the liquid source. Pump head plunger stroke can be lengthened and operated at slower stroke rates using a large cross-sectional area intake and discharge valves. Plunger seals, supported as a seal pack in a sleeve, are field installable over the plunger. A plunger to drive shim arrangement permits filed adjustment of the stroke.
Pipe pump system
Disclosed is an embodiment that introduces a novel system to pump fluids, or, gases or, semi-solids, or, solids, from one place to another. Conventionally, a motorized pump systems are used to pump any given fluid from one position to another, nonetheless, in this invention not only a new system of pumping fluids is so introduced, but, existing functions of a conventional motorized pumping systems are saliently augmented by the pipe pump system. The pipe pump functions basically, by a series of electromagnets, that are placed around a flexible and resilient tube, (a rubber tube, for instance), and when these said electromagnet arrangements are actuated, then, that causes the pipe pump to pump out fluids, by squeezing on the fluids, or gases, contained within.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A FLUID-GUIDING DEVICE, AND CORRESPONDING FLUID-GUIDING DEVICE
A device and method for operating a fluid-guiding device, including an electrically operated fluid pump, which delivers fluid from a fluid sump of the fluid-guiding device and supplies it to at least one fluid consumer. A fluid volume in the fluid sump as well as a current intensity of the electric current taken up by the fluid pump and modeled on the basis of the rotational speed of the fluid pump are ascertained, and a comparison value is determined from the modeled current intensity. A deficient fluid supply of the fluid-guiding device is inferred if the fluid volume is greater than a threshold value and a measured current intensity of the electric current taken up by the fluid pump is less than the comparison value.
DOUBLE ACTING PUMP DESIGN UTILIZING TWO ROTATING DISCS
Embodiments provide for two rotating parallel discs to power horizontal pistons back and forth configured in a radial pattern, comprised of double acting fluid end that may be used in high pressure fluid handling equipment, wherein the fluid end has an arrangement that acts upon both a suction and a discharge operation.
PIGGABLE PROPORTIONER AND PUMP
A pump assembly for serial connection along a primary fluid line includes a pump and a pump bypass. The pump has an inlet side and an outlet side, and is configured to receive a first fluid from the inlet side, and expel the first fluid from the outlet side. The pump bypass is actuatable between first and second valve states. The first valve state fluidly connects the pump in series along the primary fluid line, and connects an input side of the primary fluid line to an output side of the primary fluid line only via the pump. The second valve state fluidly isolates the pump from the primary fluid line, and fluidly connects the input and output sides of the primary fluid line via a continuously piggable path.
CONSTANT VOLTAGE POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FOR USE WITH AN ELECTRIC HYDRAULIC FRACTURING SYSTEM
A hydraulic fracturing system includes a turbine generator for producing electricity at a well site, the turbine generator producing electrical energy at a voltage. The system also includes an electric pump electrically coupled to the turbine generator and receiving operative power from the turbine generator. The system further includes switch gear arranged between the electric pump and the turbine generator, the switch gear distributing electrical energy from the turbine generator to the electric pump, wherein the voltage remains substantially constant from the turbine generator to the electric pump.

Analysis method of absolute energy efficiency and relative energy efficiency of compressed air system
An analysis method of absolute energy efficiency and relative energy efficiency of the compressed air system. For the compressed air system operating in a form of a single compressor, a gas flow rate and a corresponding operating power of the compressor operating in the single compressor model are measured under a specified flow rate. Meanwhile, influencing factors of the compressor operation are monitored. The absolute energy efficiency of the compressor is defined, and a curve of the absolute energy efficiency of the compressor varying with the operating time versus the above factors are plotted in a same coordinate system. Obtaining absolute energy efficiency data of the compressor in a corresponding state. By analyzing the absolute energy efficiency under corresponding conditions and based on the corresponding chart, the actual unit consumption of a given single compressor and its changing rule under different production and environmental operating conditions can be intuitively analyzed.
