Method of controlling gaseous fluid pump

A method of controlling a fluid pump. The pump has a plurality of oscillating pistons that travel along a central axis of a piston sleeve. A plurality of pistons is of similar mass within a piston sleeve are provided, and adjacent pistons are positioned to be 180 degrees apart in phase oscillations. An electric coil is provided for each piston, and the position of adjacent pistons is determined. The current to one of the electric coils for a piston is adjusted to maintain the 180 degree difference in phase between oscillations of adjacent pistons.

Multi-Stage Piston Compressor Having an Outer Cooling Air Conduction System

A multi-stage piston compressor with a cooling arrangement is provided. The multi-stage piston compressor includes a compressor unit having a plurality of air-cooled cylinders on a crankcase housing, a motor unit that is mounted at an end face of the crankcase housing, and a cooler unit at an opposing end face of the compressor unit. An axial fan wheel of the cooler unit blows cooling air substantially outwards toward the compressor unit. In order to conduct cooling air externally in the region of said compressor unit, at least one air guide housing mounted between the cooler unit and the crankcase extends at least partially radially around the crankcase in a curved manner, such that the axial air flow generated by the axial fan wheel is at least partially guided around the crankcase in the radial direction and toward at least one cylinder at the air outlet side of the air guide housing.

DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PRESSURIZING AND SUPPLYING FLUID

A heat exchanger generally employs a method for supplying liquid having critical pressure or higher or high pressure in order to suppress boiling. However, gas obtained by a evaporator behind the heat exchanger has relatively low pressure, and therefore supplying the liquid to the heat exchanger requires a system for converting an energy form of the obtained gas into kinetic energy or electrical energy, and increasing the pressure by a mechanical pump. Thus, the complicated system involving an efficiency loss is only solution, and it is difficult to achieve simplification of a system or reduction in the weight of a propellant supply device in a moving body, specifically, a flying object.

Cylinder Head Assembly For Reciprocating Compressor

A compressor may include a housing, a piston, and a cylinder head assembly. The housing defines a cylinder and a first valve seat defining a recess. The piston is movable within the cylinder to define a compression chamber. The cylinder head assembly is mounted on the housing and includes a valve plate, a suction valve, a discharge valve and a head cover. The valve plate may be mounted to the mounting surface and may include a suction plenum, a suction passage providing fluid communication between the suction plenum and the cylinder, and a discharge passage. The suction valve can seat on the first valve seat to allow fluid flow through the suction passage. The head cover may include a discharge chamber and an integrally formed guide post extending into the discharge chamber. The guide post may include a pocket that receives a discharge valve stem for reciprocation therein.

A reciprocating compressor may include a shell, a first cylinder, a plate, a second cylinder, and a piston. The first cylinder may be disposed within the shell and may include a first valve. The plate may be fixed relative to the first cylinder and may include a second valve. The second cylinder may be axially aligned with the first cylinder and may be moveable relative to the first cylinder between first and second positions. The piston may be disposed within the second cylinder and may include a third valve. The piston may reciprocate relative to the first and second cylinders. The piston and the plate may define a first compression chamber therebetween. The piston and the first cylinder may define a second compression chamber therebetween. A fluid-injection passage extending through the first cylinder selectively provides a working fluid from a source to the second compression chamber.

Method of coating lubrication paint on disk-shaped substrate

A method for coating a lubrication paint on a disk-shaped substrate, comprising: applying the lubrication paint on a sliding portion of the disk-shaped substrate from a paint supply nozzle while rotating the disk-shaped substrate in the horizontal plane; and leveling the lubrication paint applied on the sliding portion by contacting the lubrication paint with a doctor knife that is arranged at a downstream position in the direction of rotation of the disk-shaped substrate. The disk-shaped substrate may be the swash plate of a swash plate compressor.
